i am a little confused, annke uses 5mp cameras but its sold as a 6mp system? I know not your issue, just wondered on your thoughts as to why the box was printed as 6mp. i notice on there site it states the h500 is 5mp

i think you needed to scan the qr code on the left not the one on the right that's probably why your phone wouldn't fined the system the one the right is for downloading the app

Is the app connected directly to the base unit using your own wifi, or does it expect to go up to the cloud & back down for all connections even when youre at home?

I enjoyed your video. You made the installation very easy to follow. But, for me, I would require someone to install it for me. Years of playing sports and lifting weights during my invincible days of my youth have caught up to me in a rather negative way 🥴. One thing that concerns me, and perhaps I’m being a bit paranoid here, is how secure is my video footage considering I would be connected to the Internet. Are they uploaded to the company’s server? And if so, what are they doing with them? Are they secure? Are they encrypted? Are they accessible by others? Things perhaps one should be concerned about. After all, what is fully known about the company and how trustworthy are they? Thanks again for the video.

How do you remove the base of the case from the camera, to screw into a surface. Annke doesn’t show this either and I’m afraid I’ll snap something separating the base. I see that there is a slot that can be rotated to align with a tab, but it’s still not easy to remove.

The reason there is no night time review is it is rubbish. I just put 6 cameras up only 1 at night I can see is the 1 with a outside wall light. The infrared light on cameras is rubbish.

How do you install them if you can’t fit them under the soffit because of asbestos.

Hello…. I have cat 6 cables running in my walls going to different rooms. I am thinking about installing NVR security cameras via POE…. My question is can POE cat 6 cables and regular cat 6 run together? Will there be interference or heating from the POE cables?

Very helpful video many thanks. question. After the initial setup prior to installing outside, is a monitor required as I would be leaving my NVR in the loft, can I block sections of the camera/motions zones on the app or do I need to do that using the NVR etc. Thanks in advance

How thick is your soffit board? Why did you drill holes before screwing into the soffit? Would the screws not fall out doing this?
