Cool story bro. Kool Herc didn't create Hip Hop or the Breakbeat. Kool Herc created the Merry-Go-Round. Hip Hop evolved from different elements of the Native Black American Culture over the span of the Century. James Brown is the Godfather of Hip Hop.

Why did 2Pac, Eminem, Lil Wayne, and Fat Joe start a band?

Because they heard they could finally solve every problem with a rap battle royale!

The True Rap/Hip Hop Mount Rushmore:
James Brown, George Clinton, DJ Flowers, DJ Hollywood, Disco King Mario, The Black Spades, Dewey "Pigmeat" Markham, The Jubalaires, Luis Armstrong, The Mills Brothers, The 1st Gen. New York B-Boys and many many other FBA'S who inspired them.
None were Jamaican, Bahamian or Puerto Rican!

The True Hip Hop Founding Fathers of Hip Hop are GrandMaster Flowers, Disco Mario, DJ Pete Jones, kool DJ DEE, DJ Smokey, and green eye genie. Some of these African American DJs were playing the breakbeat. The get down part vefore herc. flash, and bamaataa.

Herc was not the first to play the breakbeat, the get down part, extending the breakbeat. He did not have the first Jip jop party.

Dance Hall is a music genre that emerged from Jamaica. Where people with sound systems would set up and play music for their neighbors. Eventually setting up and you would have "selectors" who would give "shout outs" thus we have Dane Hall. One of the first would be Lee Roy - Wake the town.

Interestingly you would have Cool Herc who would attend these Dance Hall events and he would eventually move to NY and apply those same skills and would eventually make Hip-hop 😉😀😜

There were other DJs with two turntables extending the beats. However; DJ Kool Kerc stated he accidentally played a Merry-Go-Around off of James Brown music by watching the crowd do their special dance. I rather listen to the actual person than hear other folks add their own twist or lies to someone else story.

This is propaganda. DJ Disco Mario was throwing parties and spinning the breaks before Kool Herc. This lie has been told for decades because Hip Hop history is being told by people who were not there. The true Hip Hop Pioneers already debunked this nonsense.
