How To Tame Wildlife In STW! New 4th Slot, Wildlife Hero Gia And Starter Pack Leaked?

If only there was a way to stop them from spawning. 90% of my deaths are due to raptors getting a cheap shot from behind on me or pack of wolfs deciding that my walls are a bigger threat than a fat husk who detonates on contact (the other 10% is me being bad or getting pushed off the map by door husks)

Yea, this update is... ugh. Not only do wildlife scale to mission level, meaning they hit YOU like a TRUCK, especially the raptors, they spawn in packs. So 90% of the time when you’re trying to “tame” one their buddies come attack you, making you fail the tame and take half your health in the process.
Oh, wildlife also aggro ALL the sleeping husks on the map, EVERY. ONE.... so that’s fun. They’re not even that good against husks, going down in a couple hits. They’re completely ineffective against mist monsters, who take them out with EASE, they harass you while trying to build objective defense... in my opinion they are FAR more trouble than they’re worth. The best thing to come out of this is the crows, which (if you can manage to kill one before it glitches out) can drop high level materials and weapons.
That’s my take anyway.

Here is a good STW Combo
Play as Commander Clip (if you got her) & tame a boar. Protect the boar & it will find multiple gems (silver, malachite, & Obsidian, etc…) per level right beside you. I do Ride the Lighting rounds to farm what I need

Please let's have Pop come with a weapon or something. If that happens then I'll have no problem with buy these pricey starter packs. Something like a reskin of one of those llama only weapons like spy, wild west, sci fi and art deco

But can we get Gia in BR too with quest?

This is too op. Patch it now or make harder content

Some don't like Gia, but I got her and ran her and it was great. I tamed a wolf who fought with me in a 100 zone. As I dealt damage I healed him and vice versa. I usually use going coconuts but I just used Gia's perk and it worked really well. So glad to see the team at Epic/Fortnite hasn't given up on STW.

About damn time something new!!

I was quite surprised to see animals when I played a little bit this morning to hit up my daily missions. I was wondering why A1 hadn't told me about this already.

Crazy how they just add animals, and a couple old hero’s back in the shop and we’re all celebrating

from what ive seen the new zone looks like the fountain zone that was in a plankerton mission, but with that said I'm glad STW got some love with this recent update!

My only issue is it jacks up your abilities slots. WOnky in execution, but something new. Cant hate if they tweak it.

This is a cool little update. I only sign on to do daily’s. Still haven’t done the msk. Guess I’ll knock out this new quest line. What up A1?!

it's a small step in the right derection. for more updates to stw and probably later primal weapons might be added to the game.

Nice to have new stuff but after a year of nothing new... all we get is wild life🤦🏻‍♂️

No lie, one of the best update in a long time, although the wildlife AI is pretty bad when it comes to stw landscape (they get stuck in the ground...a lot) but a new temporary companion is great if you match it with a defender, and running with Gia, and a full trap tunnel makes any wildlife semi godmode! Thank you epic😎

Unfortunately this is not new biome, this is just last mission in the quest line. Build this construction.

This is like the science dungeon, but to the next level. This update is so great, and I'm glad the STW developers (all 2 of them) don't seem to lose interest, and are trying as hard as they can to provide updates. Thank you STW team <3

Hopefully EpicGames removes wildlife... I don't mind the Crows but the rest needs to be removed. Leave this trash in BR...

the fourth slot for consumables is a great improvement, now the pirate loadouts are going to be more efficient with coconuts
