I have spoke with then year ago bout the scopes theres a setting, dont be turned away from these none filled screen ones. i will send a msg to Flinter as proof and he can comment back here, as proof.
ОтветитьDoes this come out on PS4?
ОтветитьFinally a hunting game that understand how Africa works.
COTW Africa is actually boring because it has no monkeys, no giraffes, no elephants and no leopards.
It looks so good. But sucks it still wont be released till 2025 or later and thats PC console wont be till way later 😢
ОтветитьThis game has been "in development" for 3 years already. They've said that there's only 3-7 devs working on it at various stages, and updates have been few and far between. I'm anticipating the greatest disappointment since TheAngler, tbh.
ОтветитьPretty interesting choice to allow us to hunt endangered species.
ОтветитьMan Sunderpartan JUST came out
ОтветитьIf they can just get the ballistics right I'll be happy. Big game animals should not be shrugging off a vital hit from a high caliber rifle.
ОтветитьWhy does it look like a mobile game
ОтветитьI think it looks better than both the ones we've got now but will it be on all platforms because if not I don't think it would make it. Thank you for all your content bud I've been watching you for a lot of years. I think pretty much since you started.
ОтветитьLot to unpack here… lots of good and lots of bad…
Ответитьit looks cartoonish
Ответитьlooks like a shitty mobile game
ОтветитьMy favorite part is the deer fighting I hope the rut behavior
ОтветитьIm getting more convinced that games with UE5 engine feels all the same now. These games; snow simulator, recycle simulator, pax diem, ships at sea and many more seems like all the developers got together to release unfinished demos as early access to make a fast buck. I get studios are not AAA production but steam summer fest seemed like more than half the games had similar bugs, design layout, and animations. Check it out. there are so many negative and mixed reviews floating in 2024.
ОтветитьFlinter, where do you get your background music from?
ОтветитьI'll be honest I wasn't a fan of the trailer. Two things stand out for me in the trailer and make me really really worried.
The first thing is the fact that the bear and elephant attack exactly the same way coming out of the bushes. Makes me think that this is some rng phone game like nonsense where there is an x% chance that an animal attack will spawn out of bushes and it's exactly the same every time. "Oh no a bush, will there be an attack or not uhoh be careful" was good enough back in the day but games are far more advanced today and this would be absolutely laughable and kill the game for me on arrival.
The other thing that worries me is how there seems to be a path outlined in most of this footage, makes me think that we will not be able to just walk around freely everywhere the way we can in CotW. Wouldn't be surprised if the sides in most of this footage are invisible walls.
My interest in this game is now pretty much dead so they can only surprise me for the better now.
There are a few things that stand out to me as being immediately better than HCotW, not the least of which is what looks like a recurve or LB bow with a dang shelf as opposed to the... odd... bow choices of HCotW. Also, what appears to be much more realistic arrow choices as well. Again, HCotW really errs in that dept. The other weapons in UH look much better to me as well, with likely a very nice selection right off launch. HCotW players have been asking for Africa 2.0 for ever, and it looks like someone smart at 3T/Ultimate Games took notice. Animal selection in both maps for UH looks great. The trailer does make the overall product look somewhat uneven though, with some animations looking clunky with others feeling fine. UH looks immediately more appealing to me than Way of the Hunter (I can't put my finger on exactly why, and haven't tried WotH, so I could be wrong). In the end, I'll definitely look into UH if my machine can run it, and more importantly, if UH manages to capture that feeling of excitement I used to have with HCotW, a feeling that's wholly dissipated over the last year or so, with that game having become a total snore fest and IMO, with EW completely losing track of what it was that set out to do initially with the game...
ОтветитьWith UE5 engine and Ray tracing in the game, this will look so so beautiful
ОтветитьSomewhat it looks arcade style. But here we have the same maps over and over again. In all hunting games. Put in mongolia, cuba? Do something new
Ответитьreminds me of the old dangerous hunt games
ОтветитьThis looks more like a mobile game
ОтветитьAnything will be better than give me your money Expensive Worlds !!!
ОтветитьMehhhh. I’m feeling like this will peeeeter out.
ОтветитьBye bye Cotw 😂 I’m done with it 100%. This game is everything I’ve wanted in a hunting game
ОтветитьImagine having to haul your hunt back to the shop or where someone for taxidermy would be super cool. Where you can’t just stack animals and claim them all. You have to actually transport your hunt back to camp or wherever it may be.
ОтветитьI remember old hunting games in the early 2000's had bullet cam, it would be so awesome to have that option again
ОтветитьPiP Scopes like those in the trailers are the best new thing i waiting for in a hunting game.
i'm bored with Fullscreen scopes and blacked out edges
Where's Zaggi , he was all in on this game. It was his baby.
ОтветитьThe Hunter Classic, still a GOAT! I think they should just remaster that game!!
ОтветитьActually so glad this is gonna come out on xbox!
ОтветитьI have a feeling the movements won't be as good as Hunter COTW and by looking at the trailer the graphics and colors are almost similar to " Way of the Hunter" which I don't care for . Not getting my hopes up high like I did for other hunting games .
ОтветитьWithout any kind of survival aspect, it's just another arcade game. We have enough of those. Bring camping back to hunting games!
ОтветитьI love the idea of having to transport your kill, weapon customization, animals fighting. If only COTW would add these it would be perfect!
ОтветитьWhy do no hunting games ever add the nyala 😭😭😭😭 it’s like the prettiest African animal I’ve ever seen
ОтветитьThe small scope in the beginning is the "quick scope". Every scope has that ability and all scopes have the ability to also have a normal scope in like the 2nd one you showed.
ОтветитьIdk the scope was pretty realistic obviously not great but i like premise
ОтветитьI’m guessing it won’t be on PlayStation 4
ОтветитьWay of the hunter is the best hunting game put to date .this looks good 👍
ОтветитьThat would be so sick if you had to drag your elk/other animals to your truck. It would make hunts feel so rewarding
ОтветитьThey got the giraffe running all wrong
ОтветитьIs it gonna be on Xbox or PC
Ответитьthe animals look great.
ОтветитьMost of the animations have been slowed for the trailer and as for the scope not taking the entire screen, the devs have announced there are 2 ways to use the scope the way they shown in the trailer was quick scoping if an animal is about to flee or if you have to make a fallow up shot if you grazed an animal. There will also be shouldering your rifle which will give you the full view through the scope like most hunting games.
ОтветитьAs a Californian, it is my duty to respectfully correct those that say "tool" elk. The tule (too-lee) elk is named after the native plant called tules (too-lees) that the elk feed on. Waterfowlers will also be familiar with tules, I spend Oct-jan surrounded by them.
ОтветитьIt better be on console fr fr
ОтветитьI hope game play has same graphics
ОтветитьAfter so many years still no game play just new trailer the developer cannot be trusted they promise too much and will not deliver their other projects are like this.
ОтветитьThis looks fun something i wish COTW added was suppressors and neater animation work for the weapons
Ответить
