INCREDIBLE! 2022 BMW X3 M40i Review

Upgraded from a ‘21 M40 to a ‘24 M40 and are missing the louder exhaust with burbles and pops. Pumped in exhaust sounds seem non-existent.

I've had mine for 8 months. Love the car. It's very quick, looks good, handles great, sounds great, infotainment is snappy, and it and has physical buttons for everything. And it fits a car seat and my family comfortably. What else could you ask for?

Nah that news thing is a cool feature, drivers should be better trained. Otherwise make everyone switch to a tesla now and end any human involved driver because cutting down distractions will eventually make human driving obsolete. We will find a way to ruin everything.

My 2020 BMW X3 has engine mounts that went bad after just after the 50k warranty went out. It also has an oil leak. Lemon? Wonder if BMW fixed that issue for newer models?

Old tail lights are way better. And the X3M is way too expensive at almost $30K more and for only a few more tenths of a second faster acceleration. For that price there are way more options for way more performance. The Tesla Model Y Performance comes to mind at $67K vs the 85K for a X3M. It’s a no brainer - the Tesla wins hands down. Way faster, far more modern and better technology.

Does anybody else see energy swords from Halo for the tail lights.

I agree with the over badging. Would remove the front quarter panel emblem, rear emblems, at a minimum. Probably the front grill emblem as well

I bought a 2017 Porsche Cayenne s and it broke under a week. So I might trade it for a M40i. I test drove a X3 M40i my eyes started blurring, even though it has less horse power, it’s so much faster and blows the Cayenne S out the water.

I like the earlier x3m comp better tbh
