How to add 3rd party instruments to Kontakt

Thanks a lot! Both this video and your old one helped me a lot in better understanding the Kontakt Plugin system. Almost a year back I purchased a string set, which until now I've never figured out how to use (also because of little time to spend on research). So many thanks for your simple, clear and straight to the point videos!

is there any way to get the sample libraries to show up in the kontakt GUI via the right facing arrows up top so you can scroll through them? i'm having to drag and drop samples manually into the .nki and would rather be able to scroll for them WITHIN kontakt.

I get the "the instrument is from a library that is not installed" message when trying to load a third party synth (Shevannai)

But what if you have to activate that VST that your loading via files but can't because it doesn't have a Kontakt window like the other instruments?

when i load my instrument it says coudn't be loaded or corrupt :(

Does ANYBODY know how to install the Jubal Flute and Sensual Sax from Embertone sounds because I have been having trouble for the past hour or so and no help at all. I tried emailing and contacting the company "Embertone" but nobody from them has contacted me back. Please msg me back asap if you know how to install those two libraries into Kontatk 6

Hi, I'm currently trying this but my files are not .nki, instead .db. does this make any difference because those files are not showing up in kontakt?

Hmm, so I'm guessing because of the requirement of NA to get the library serial number activated it's impossible to load pirated instruments into kontakt? If that's the case, do you know another way to access these files? Should I give up trying to pirate libraries and kontakt? lol

My 3rd party library opens in kontakt (Native instruments Discover India) but it is not giving any sound output. Please help!!

Kontakt is still the stupidest VST so far. You can use licenced plugins in a free Kontak version, But third party ones require the full version, yet the full version isn't really that full? because you need to manually search for the third-party plugins that you bought outside of Native Instruments. I hope in the next Kontakt version, the Premium user will have more freedom and better UI.

Every time I put in a nki file, it's says it's "DEMO" how can I fix it?

My God. You make things so difficult! If there is no nicnt file (you need this file to add a library tab), create one yourself with an app called klc.exe (google for it). In Kontakt (I use Kontakt 6, full version), click on Manage Libraries -> Add Library and select the folder where the nicnt file was created. It wil show now as a tab in Kontakt. To make things smoother amend the ugly wallpaper that klc.exe created for you (and make it 633 X 99 pixels) and it looks as nice as all the other libraries you installed.
