Be careful installing all those supposedly free antivirus programs, many will install the full version, tell you it’s a trial version, then say if you want full protection you must pay for it. Typical !!, I hate it. What you have described in this video is good, but not for the average user. It literally takes hours to determine which file is good or bad, and Windows OS contains thousands of strange sounding files you must not delete, however by scanning the files as you say in process manager then that’s good. But it’s all very tricky for the uninitiated. Best advice is try to be careful when browsing and clicking on stuff.

First step in fixing problems with Windows 10. Uninstall and install a better OS.

Zone Alarm is a great firewall program to alert the user to suspicious behaviours.

Windows Defender is enough for me as long you got the new update of OS, you just need to hardening it and add some Browser that can help you to Block JavaScript when you visit a site (Example: Brave Browser).

The BEST way to remove a virus from windows 10 is to install Linux!

WoW, you left out Process Monitor and WireShark, to see whats really going on underneath the hood.

For me I find this interresting but not so uselful -There is no way I could determent a virus or trojan from this so I guess this is pretty much falso hope for the avarege user.

Do you know how to fully get rid of browser pop ups? I keep getting this Norton crap on my PC whenever I open edge, and it’s really frustrating.
I would say I would like to fully remove and then reinstall edge

Brian you were using process manage but I cannot get it without having to buy Winzip is this normal?

I use Bitdefender and the Free malwarebytes. Nothing so far. I can't believe these people that use one password over many sites. My rule of thumb is if you can remember your password it isn't strong enough.
