If this were a real scientific study bas would have to have his sleep diet and exercise professionally overseen for at least a week leading to the test. He would then have to hit the bag with either of the two the glove styles around 100 times in a row and they would have to get an average. They would then have to have at least a 2 day recovery period and then REPEAT the week long observation and repeat the test in the opposite style glove. They would THEN have to repeat both sets of tests with multiple different fighters at different weight classes to compare results and EVEN THEN there’s still a wild amount of variables such as fatigue, the connection of each punch against the bag, position of the fighter while swinging, the condition of the bag after EVERY punch absorbed and many more that I can’t think of myself at play. A 1 : 1 ratio on a quick day long test with no preparation and not even an attempt to control as many variables as possible is not concrete evidence of anything. More mass = less momentum more padding = more surface area + more energy absorbed by the padding. This is a tv show not a scientific convention.
ОтветитьThis is some stupid ass shit
ОтветитьYeah, but that's on a soft punching bag, not someone's head, which is a hard bone. Boxing gloves are essentially weapons. You can hit much harder with them, since there is less chance of breaking your hand. Think of how much harder you could hit a brick wall with gloves on vs. bare knuckle. Mma fighters get more hand breakages than boxers do because there is less padding on the gloves.
This video is true for body punches though. Since there isn't as much risk for breaking the hand with a body punch, I'd imagine a liver shot bare knuckle at full power would be excruciating.
So Ngannou’s power could translate into boxing
ОтветитьNow try it with Triple G and ask the back how it felt getting hit with mma gloves.
ОтветитьThe mass of the object hitting you makes a big difference. Things that are extremely heavy can break bones if they bump you just barely moving. I saw someone get both his legs broke by a coil of steel. He had it on the overhead cane and was walking in front of it and it started swinging.
ОтветитьAlways go bare knuckle even with little or no wrap around the wrist. If you left the head unprotected why protect the hands
ОтветитьSo overall mma gloves do more damage because they hit just has hard has boxing gloves but also can deliver cuts to the other fighter.
ОтветитьWe will see how this study holds up when Francis Ngannou fights Tyson Fury in the ring with 10OZ gloves 🥊
ОтветитьBas should've used his deadly palm strike to break the bag
ОтветитьBecause the Heavy bag is "Heavy" they measure penetration and energy. But if they tested on a Human dummy for example a shot to the jaw or ribs the mma gloves and barefisted would accumulate more velocity and thus deliver a more jarring impact.
Ответитьhey how is this shit called

@garytonks793
This is why i'd rather do MMA than full contact kickboxing : no 10 counts. That and my judo / ju jitsu experience
Basically no difference.
ОтветитьThis experiment was done wrong they didn't take in consideration handwraps
ОтветитьThere is so much more to take into account. Like how much damage it does to the tissue, how spread out is it and so many more
ОтветитьBoxing gloves r more dangerous than bareknuckles?😂😂😂 hav u ever received a straight blow 2 da center of ur nose with da big ass middle finger bone. Ur gonna appreciate dat 6mm pad!😁😁😁
ОтветитьHave faith in Christ and be saved by grace through faith, not of works but through faith that Christ died for our sins and rose again. In Christs name Amen❤✝👑✝👑❤✝👑❤✝✝
ОтветитьWtf is that boxing glove 😂
ОтветитьFor God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
ОтветитьNo need science , your teeth arent stronger than a boxer knuckle
ОтветитьWhy is everyone talking about how the gloves protect the hand not the opponent. But not the way the boxing glove looks like that doesn’t look like a boxing glove
ОтветитьThis one is for everyone who thinks gloves sizes make a massive difference in kos.
ОтветитьIt's not the force that they should research but the impact on the brain and boxing gloves definitely put the most impact on the brain
ОтветитьHe obviously didn’t punch as hard with the mma and bare knuckles
ОтветитьI think people are missing something here.. its a lot harder to land a powerful clean punch in boxing gloves than it is to land a powerful punch in mma gloves. Why? because in mma gloves you can hit the opponent with any part of your fist and hurt your opponent either wobble them, cut them, or ko them. In boxing if you dont land with knuckles most boxers will take your shot all day.
Why do you think conor mcgregor known for his mma boxing ko power was having floyd walk through all his punches that normally hurt everyone he has fought? And yes some he did land on floyd not everything was slipped or deflected they just werent effective. Its because conor didnt know how to punch with boxing gloves on. He was punching like he had mma gloves on. Big difference that people dont think about.
Meanwhile lacrosse and hockey gloves
Ответитьbut mma will cut and break the nose easier
ОтветитьHair splitting FORCE between Boxing and MMA gloves, but the damage is way more with 4 oz MMA gloves. The contact is smaller which concentrates more damage similar to a bullet
ОтветитьIntressting
ОтветитьInteresting they have one of the few fighters who uses palm strikes instead of fists doing this demonstration
ОтветитьFirst of all mma gloves would do more damage in terms of skin cutting and breaking noses, boxing gloves on the other hand do more damage with shaking the brain, think of it as giant pillows on your hands, it shakes your brain more than mma gloves
ОтветитьThing about a boxing glove is the wider surface area ur getting punched with, compared to mma for bare fist
Ответитьi threw up watching this
ОтветитьMMA gloves hurt more, since it's has little padding. But boxing gloves feel like a hard pillow, not really painful, just lights out.
ОтветитьThe bag won't show the shock which come more from MMA gloves and a fist.
ОтветитьThis Fake News those numbers she used Aren't true because no one punches a steel wall as hard as they can without some form of protection on their hands this should be common sense.
Ответитьwhy they make the thumbs on the models like that
ОтветитьEven with the same amount of force isn’t the force more concentrated in a mia glove?
ОтветитьHow do ufc fighters not just die.
Ответитьpeople from La know the football gloves are undefeated
ОтветитьThey use gloves in boxing cuz it protects the hands, not the opponent. Also in bareknuckle as you get tired, you're more likely to use sloppy technique and thus will more likely hurt your hands. Vs a boxing glove with wrapped hands. Less injuries
ОтветитьWhat is Colossal Titan doin here 🙄
ОтветитьThis is why I always train my knuckles so it would be sharp, large and durable for my karate sparings competition.
ОтветитьThis test is probably not accurate at all, The dude who was punching could have (unintentionally) punched with less force or more making the results inconsistent, best thing to do would have just been to use a machine since its much more consistent than a human hand.
ОтветитьMakes me laugh this 😂 what ounce are the gloves? 10-14 or what? Best video i was was big john telling someone to punch a table with a boxing glove so he did, then he asked him to punch a table with the mma glove and the guy said no it will hurt my hand
ОтветитьI hope they punched the bag atleast 5-10 times, each. And averaged them all out. If they only hit once, for each gloves, and barehanded; than the results are useless. Unless you assumed the person punched with the exact same amount of strength each time; which I will not.
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the show?
Ответить
