Oh. Mygod. I watched some other video before this one and I got the No More Lives achievement on this level alone. Then I watched this video and got it on the first try. Wtf 😮‍💨

I cant speak to the guardian because instead my game is bugged. I can see his hat, ponch and stick but theyre floating in the air, without him😂

The game doesn't allow me to change keybord controls for some reason. Did anyone have this problem?

What should I do if I missed memory #2 and already returned back to the slums with the Doc? Is it possible to return to this location?

I think I did this like over 12 times before finally getting it right.Idk why but I think keyboard actually makes it harder.

The camera is absolutely terrible here and having to use wasd to change slight direction (unlike anywhere else when moving, so obvs it's a deliberate ploy by the devs) is a pita. Impossible to use all the keys at once. Edit: best tip for me in the comments was using the arrow keys instead of the mouse.

I thought I was gonna need the full guide, but all I needed was a reminder that there was a “run” button. Its been a while since I played this game…

god, i feel like fucking idiot right now. i read about the PACIFIST trophy and thought it was already on that stage - nope :P
i died way too many times until i checked this video 😂

I'd like to add my method to the chase scene on keyboard: I didn't use the mouse at all in this section since its pretty much useless because the camera doesn't work. So I used my right hand and moved the cat with the arrow keys. I bound "run" to "W". Jumping is "Alt left" for me and meowing is space so I didn't change those.
But this method was the only way for me to beat this scene.

ofc its "OK" when i run, tried to escape but mouse control not an option to use or work that scene... WASD+SHIFT+press alt... ofc its normally.. am i an octopuss?!.... ffs

if youre having trouble on keyboard, try rebinding run to left click and meow to right click. hold down the left button and spam right click at the same time. then, all you need to focus on is wasd+jump.

im pretty bad at video games but after trying this configuration i beat it first try!!

Great strategy, turn the camera around & fire the DeFluxer out of the cat's ass lol

I ran this twice with my flashlight on after dying on my first run because I wasn't 100% sure where to go. I found the flashlight helped me from getting swarmed .

Man, I’ve tried to get through the door so many times, and I keep missing just one Zurk with the defluxor and it kills me, every time!

THERE IS A RUN BUTTON ?!

I have made it this far into the game, got stuck and finally decided to look up a video and I realize just now that THERE IS A FUCKING RUN BUTTON ?!

I WALKED through all the other chase scenes!

Did anyone have a problem when you're playing with your mouse & keyboard, it won't let you use your mouse to look around while running? I can barely get through every time and if I mess up even once i'm screwed :(

I can't even finish this part, it's pretty much impossible.

Can I play the level again once finished? I missed a memory point and the game didn't allow me to go back while being in the dead end itself, hated this.

Every time I have to run from Zurks I get all scared but this walkthrough, just thank you so much!

the 1st part is really frustrating to do with just a keyboard

If anyone out there having troubles with making turns while running, I recommend lowering the Look Sensitivity down to ~25%, that made all of these chasings a lot easier for me 👌
That and also simply just smashing the Jump button all the time to not miss any jump while running. Good luck!

So guys try to change controls
Make the run "left mouse button"
Escape from little things by the thing on mouse Idk what's the name of it lol its between left and right 😂
It made the game easier

This is next to absolutely impossible with just a keyboard

UGHHHH something is wrong with my game as my Doc does not go back downstairs to open the door for me

Edit: I reloaded the last checkpoint and that fixed it!

The only thing I dislike about this game is the zurk chasing scenes but I appreciate the walkthrough so I know exactly where to step for them

Lord...talk about doing a deep dive into pop culture history! Obviously "Doc" is Doc Brown from Back to the Future....but Seamus is the character Michael J. Fox played as the great-great grandfather of Marty McFly in the wild west in BTTF3!!!

Tell me who else is going to remember that!!! lol
