should I be worried that in the Max Air Drifter video, I see the craft turning right while the "pilot" has the stick hard left with no apparent effect on said craft? It continues turning right.

I worked for mike fisher back in the 80s building prototypes. we also built a twin engine called the culex, a fabric 2 stroke version and a ply covered with 4 cyl 4 strokes and retracts. the fabric one would climb about 500 fpm with one engine out. they looked like the mosquito bomber hence the name culex .

Hey Jimmy glad you enjoy these I kind of do too, that said last time I checked we live in America, and the Wright Brothers didn't have pilots licenses. Its just shyt somebody made up and it's unconstitutional. If I build a flying air bus no matter the weight or the speed and load my family up Jetsons style and take them to Florida on vacation and someone tries to prosecute me for it, then I think we have a real good idea who is wrong with this country today.

54 knots, 5 gallons and 254 LBS. 😂 As in redneck fashion, those rules are seldom adhered to. I've seen guys carry 10 gallons, about a hundred pounds overweight and strap on 80+HP and cruising over 80. Lmao! Ramp check what? I've never seen one ramp checked though to be fair. Ignorance is 9/10ths of the law...or something like that.

Stop trying to be a Jim Carey I want to hear your comments but without all the annoying squeaky voices, it’s enough to make me leave a round in the chamber to put myself out of my misery.

What I like is that you are so funny and you. care about people. I know not one thing about a plane. ✈But your videos are fun. My love is building house. From the road to the roof top. For 50 years in MD. My wife and I Retired here. Think I we see you fly by my house in Auburndale.

A number of the aircraft you display do not qualify as FAR 103 ultralights. Barnstormers sellers are famous for selling 'someone else's problem' that do not qualify as true ultralights. Your video seems to cater to foolish pilots who would get killed if they do not do their due diligence. There is nothing wrong with being a 'tire kicker' when buying an aircraft, someone selling you their aircraft problems are more likely to get you hurt than someone selling an auto that is a lemon.

I learned to fly fixed wing under Light Sport, which does require a license but not a medical, as long as you have not failed one you've tried to get, and as long as you have a US driver's license. I learned to fly FAR 103 compliant trikes, which with a 30HP or less engine usually make it under 254# even w/o a parachute (which adds a weight allowance), and I feel those are the best used ultralights one can fly, a good one can be found for about $7000, some even around $5000.

Also, the feeling of flying a trike is so much like feeling like a bird, I cannot say how euphoric I find trike flying. I have flown an Ercoupe with the windows down, the famous fixed wing aircraft with no rudder pedals, and that was also fun, with a 90 knot breeze.

The American Aerolights Falcon ultralight is very rare that you shared--the coolest one you shared, I feel.

The Aerolight 103, which with a 30hp engine can be found used near 10K is three axis and a good aircraft.

Mind you all of these aircraft have fabric wings, so if you cannot tow them home (trikes being the exception), you have to hangar them or tie them down covered with a sun shield. Otherwise like Icarus, they will melt in the sun....

I like the humor of your video, especially the canoe part. I have two memes to share with u, lol

"U cannot have ur Kayak and Heat it too"
