MOBA was just a term invented by the devs to differentiate League from DotA. And games like league aren't really battle arena, it's an RPG. They just needed something to make them stand out amongst every dota clone at that time and it worked. It worked so well that the word MOBA is thrown at every game that has 3 lanes and characters fighting for towers and objectives that the RPG genre they actually are a part of is nearly forgotten about.

Arcane is NOT an anime

You know, just recently, I have watched Arcane from beginning to end, and I. Was. HOOKED.

I hate to be the uhm actually person but wth here i go. League is not a Strategy game, but only in the strict definition, it originated from RTS but it is more of a team based action game. And Arcane is not anime, that term is only reserved for animation made specifically in Japan, and arcane was animated in France for the lsrgest part. Thats it sorry lmao.

Im waiting for some Brand development at all, like wildfire hehe. I feel like someone is dumb enough or wants utter devastation so a human will come around over the years and Brand will be back. I hope to God O_0

Just a reminder Brands hatred mainly spawned from being a reaver bastard and his good hearted mother who was a healer received much scrutiny for it. He was hated at birth basically as human and was consumed with wrath like a fire. He never strayed from his anger and rage. Maybe it wasnt the rune that corrupted him but maybe accelerated his permanent vibe. There's a lot that could be done with brand, does he remember his past, showing regret would be pretty cool, he'd be like Saul Goodman in a way. Scorched earth and regret. Is brand alive? Is he conscious or being controlled or is it a walking spewing furnace with no mind? I sorta wish he was more like zombie brand as normal with the fire. Spilling his fire, dripping lava everywhere. I would be fine with leaving a trail of lava where I walk even if it puts me at a disadvantage. The world hated Brand, Keagan for something he couldnt control, he became a mirror of the same kind of abuse and it took him and burned him alive. Now he is shackled and outdated. The world projected hate onto him and he didnt know what to do besides hate them back.

This character needs more life. Sure he's just damage and anger. But as a low elo Brand main he is a constant gamble in each game and he excites me so much. Landing my spells with grace, smooth criminal and abruptly stealing the game, or I face Zed, panth support, Rengar top, Hecarim jungle in two ganks cuz my ghost is down. You are actually playing with fire and I like that so much.

I STILL remember Nikasaur... she was the hostess for the Summoner Showcase. Each video would show off the players who did fanart/fanwork of the characters & what not. The amount of effort those players put into their artwork was nothing short of mesmerizing... That was what drew me to the game.

I also remember starting off on League just before Renekton was released as a champion to select. Over a decade ago, on Jan 17, 2011.

Oddly enough, I loved being a jungler & a top laner. If I wasn't ganking people with Rammus, Nocturne, Amumu or Warwick, I'd be at top lane with either Sion or Rumble.

I retired from the game years ago, only coming back every so often for friends. I usually do support, since I haven't done jungling in years.

I also admit that the tunes made for this game, most notably "Mortal Reminder," is MAD FIRE.

I was actually a high school eSports club president for this year lol. We had a league team who placed 5th in the spring season and a smash team that placed 3rd I believe.
