I don't understand the point of this. The motorcycle is just superbike class, which is a step under MotoGP, which is the fastest motorcycle class. It's going against an F1 car, which literally is the fastest type of car class. Also, the motorcycle rider isn't even dragging his knees around the corner, which indicates that he wasn't even going as fast as the motorcycle would have allowed him. They should have found a better rider and placed him on a MotoGP bike. That would have been a valid comparison.

I race go karts and our local track shares time with the crotch rockets.
Those guys cant even keep up with a go karts. The only advantage bikes have is overall speed vs our karts. But as far as a road course race...its not even close!

VS !? not a single sequence with both racing in the same frame, apart from 2 starts, where obviously all the motorbike sees from the F1 is its butt. I guess BMWs100RR asked for the result not to be so obvious...

A modern formula 1 car would take 10 to 15 seconds per lap out of a moto gp bike. Due to superior cornering ability.

A car cannot keep up with a bike on public roads, even to this day. That has to do with the power to weight ratio, that generally favors a bike as compared to a car in anything that can be purchased in a showroom at a reasonable price. However, when put on a closed circuit, with pro pilots, such as in this video, the bike is going to be beat due to traction as well as horsepower. It's been that way since before the use of wings and aerodynamics to pull the car down to the road in addition to the contact patch 4 tires provide a car over any bike. But if you want to "feel" the difference between what you can buy and a full on race machine...then you want to buy a motorcycle because it will scare you into throttle closure before any car does.
