I have a question, that i cant see answered anywhere.. maybe because its so specific. Basically im getting the NZXT H5 elite case and it has an RGB controller already mounted to the back, and it comes with two RGB fans. It is shown in the preview images to have up to 6 RGB fans at once (the max amount of fans that fit in the case). Now i just want to use the two already installed RGB fans and a liquid CPU cooler that has two RGB fans aswell. How do i connect all 4 of these fans to the NZXT controller? from what i can see in the preview images it only has 3 input slots labeled RGB 1, RGB 2 and RGB 3. Does that mean i cant use the controller with my setup? if so why show up to 6 RGB fans and make a big deal out of the RGB controller coming with the case, if you cant use it for that many fans?

And here I thought i was decently intelligent. Im obv a veg when it comes to this. All I want to do is be able to control the rgb for my lancool 216 fans, TG delta ram, and thermalright assassin cooler's but this is beyond confusing to me.

if I plan to get 10 Lian Li sl 120 fans, Galahad AIO, and an argb gpu antisag bracket (5v argb cable), and then put all that into o11d Evo (which also has 3 pin argb cable) what would be the best way to go, if I wanted to be able to control everything separately?

So question about the Unifan to generic 5v 3pin adapter cable is that needed on a per fan basis or if you use the magnetic daisy chaining 1 cable per 3 fans

thanks for the content. I have 10 lian li sl120 and I can't figure out what to do to control them independently on signal rgb. I tried connecting directly to the motherboard, to a corsair node pro and no success. When I tell signal rgb to add a sl fan, a unifan or even custom rgb...it adds 4 fans at the same time...but from different groups. I'm getting crazy here cause the lian li are my favourite fans but by far the worst when regards to software or workaround with signal rgb. I have another PC with 10 corsair LL120 and it works like a charm. Could you help me with this one?

Lian Li came out with the AL120 V2 that come with 4 ports, one cable for both RGB and fans. It also uses two sata cables for power. I have two groups. One with 3x3 120mm fans daisy chained. The other with 3 x 1 120mm fans daisy chained . The Lian Li controller says "Lian Li AL V2" and has 4 ports for 4 groups and 2 sync ports for strimers.
1) Will I have lag?
2) Will I have to use L-Connect 3?
3) Does SignalRGB support this controller? If so, is each fan addressable or is it per group in SignalRGB?

Okay so i bought a RGB fan controller that has 6pin headers for the fans, and a 3-pin header for Motherboard connection. And a sata connection for power. Does the 3-pin header that goes to the addressable header on the motherboard also control fan speed? The fans are just spinning at max speed all the time now.

I'm still confused though. I've recently purchased a Cooler Master HAF 700 which includes an internal ARGB controller.
The problem is that while it lets me control fans led, fans rpm are always stuck to 100%, which is frustrating.
My question is if there's any solution to this. Like a ARGB fan hub that can actually control fan speeds over the motherboard or any other way.
I'd really appreciatte any suggestions.

Hi, I am getting the nzxt h5 elite case (which comes with 2 fans.) it comes with nzxt's rgb controller but would I be able to plug in a corsair rgb AIO into it and still get the rgb effects?

Ok, so my question is...I have an Asus motherboard, Z790-H, and bought some NZXT CORE fans (7) , the single one didn't came with a controller, so I plugged the fan header into the motherboard fan pins and the RGB header into the motherboard 12V pins and yeah...after 3 seconds it was gone.
And the question: The only way to connect a single fan (I mean the RGB header), is buying a controller?

I purchased the exact internal usb splitter mentioned in the end of the video (not the nzxt) and it did not allow the lian li or razor chroma argb controllers to be detected on my system at all…

Just can't get it to work right. I have 6 infinity fans and two strimers. One for mobo power and one for gpu.
The fans connect to the controller, which then connects to my aRGB hub. same for the strimers. And then signal doesn't detect them properly, and while they technically work the fans are just basic color changes and not actually having any of the LEDs individually addressed.

For example, if the effect has a lot of different colors like the 'drizzle' effect., my keyboard will show the drizzles. But the fans and strimers ALL either show one single color, or another.

I really wish I knew about the Lian Li SL fans before. Everything on RGB Signal says they’re supported. I just bought 9 fans and I couldn’t get them to sync up. The whole purpose of buying them was pointless now that I need to get expensive converter cables. Problem should meantion that in the application. I didn’t even notice anyone talking about it in Discord.

I got the Corsair HC7 Water block & XD5 pump and both came with ARGB converter cables.

I have several groups of 4 Lian Li Inf 120 fans I need to hook up. I was going to use the razer chroma hub but it has an 80 led per port limit and I need 160 led per port.

is there a adapter to covert a fans like the CT120/140 that has the 3pin5v connector and 4pin PWM fan, to the Thermaltake connector that looks like a USB connector. I saw a video awhile that you can plug in the seperate cables into a TT controller that comes with TT fans, but I don't remember where I found it.

This was a nice deep dive into RBG controllers, but didn't answer a question I have. Some RGB fans come with additional SATA power plug. I never know if this is necessary, or if the regular fan + argb header on the motherboard will suffice. For example, I have an AIO with RGB fans. It comes with a little controller that lets you change the colors and color modes physically, but you have to connect it to SATA power. However, you can then disconnect that connector and the LEDs will remember the set colors and still work. Recently, I bought a new AIO, which has an ARGB connector, as well as the regular fan connector, and also SATA power. With this one, I was hoping I could completely forgoe the SATA cable, as the ARGB connection to the motherboard should enable me to control the fans this way. However, with this one, the LEDs won't light up at all unless the SATA is also connected. I don't understand that. And I don't understand how to figure these things out before buying RGB stuff. I would appreciate any help, insight, resources.

What about if you have RGB fans with only 3 pin connectors for PWM and RGB? I'm having the hardest time finding a controller that can control those plus my Corsair RAM. It's all very disjointed. I tried the Commander XT but it only supported the PWM and not the RGB.

I recently got the firmware from my MSI MOBO corrupted with the led abnormal issue. I was thinking in bypass the problem buying a ARGB controller. The thing is that my ARGB fans, the Thermalright TL-C12C, are not supported by SignalRGB. If I connect this non supported fans to some non propietary ARGB controller, like the Razer Chroma, will I be able to control the fans inside SignalRGB?
