Great reaction bro🙏...Just one thing i just wanted to add is chester made a legacy for linkin park because of his voice and Emily is the benifit of what he did because they're sounds both linkin park... The backing vocals during Lost in the Echo actually aren't Emily recordings, they are done live by Phoenix and Joe Hahn. You can see them singing it on other concert recordings. But I agree, they sound amazing.

I just got a LP ticket on Christmas for the world tour next year when they come to my state in August. And I think it will be on that day where it would be 11 years since I last saw them(which was during thecarnivores tour) I am so excited


Also, I will be seeing disturbed as well which will be in a few months and gonna be in the same arena where LINKIN PARK will be later on in the year

Emily actually sometimes does the really cool screams in Faint outro, just not at every show. She did it in New York and in Riyadh.

The touring guitarist is Alex Feder, but the one who plays the acoustic guitar and does the backing vocals during "My December" is actually Colin Brittain, their drummer, haha. He's been an insane addition to the band, he can do literally everything, and he's a great producer on top of that. One thing to note (and you most likely know this but the way you worded it during the reaction made me wanna clarify it anyway) Colin, their new drummer, is a fully fledged member of LP, on stage, and off stage, since Rob left the band completely. Alex Feder is purely a touring guitarist and not officially a part of the band, Brad is still the guitarist for LP, he just doesn't tour. But Alex is absolutely amazing, I love him!

As for what other LP shows you should check out, since you said you aren't super picky about audio and video quality, the easiest answer would be... do all of them lmao. But no, I get it, time is precious.

The Paris show should 100% be next. I think a lot of Emily's best performances are from that show. Her "Faint" performance from New York was also great but if you don't feel like doing that whole concert, it might be good just to do that song as a standalone, but Emily slays is there. London and Hamburg are both all in all great concerts that are probably worth watching in full. Seoul and Riyadh are also both very nice buth Emily was sick at both and both times you could tell with some songs. Despite that I think Emily delivered some amazing if not some of the best performances in Riyadh. Dallas show is cool for some interesting LP debuts, and Colombia is cool because at that show, Emily brought the (in my opinion) improved version of My December for the first time there. But you could already hear that at the Brazil show.

Basically every show had something special, and it's hard to recommend you only some of them. I think the only somewhat skippable one is the very first one they did in LA, even though I watched it in full like twice anyway. If nothing else, Paris is the one you should 100% do. And then maybe Hamburg, London, and Dallas if you feel like it. (and Colombia, Riyadh, New York, and Seoul if you REALLY feel like it lmao)

The show was so good I just feel audio mix was not good lmaoo. Mike was way louder then Emily in some songs

also they played a place for my head, friendly fire and points of authority on night 2 in são paulo - think you should check out apfmh honestly, emily was so intense on this one and her chemistry with mike on stage is so fucking cool

If you are interested Emily does the screams at the end of faint really well at the Riyadh concert. There aren't really many good videos of it but if you wanted just to see that there are a few out there

I think Emily has not watched Chester live performances kind of on purpose so she’s not imitating him. I think when she’s more comfortable she will add bits of her own.

I think what you are hearing when songs like lost in the echo and waiting for the end sound so different is probably because they have changed the key on those songs and a few others so everything is pitched slightly higher which changes the sound of the whole song. Maybe they have done a few other things as well like having joe and phoenix on backing vocals but id say the key change is probably the major different maker

Man!! I'm from São Paulo and I went to the 2nd show on Saturday the 16th... and to this day I'm speechless when I remember that night, it was simply spectacular ♥ The crowd was amazing all singing along all loud, and I cant wait to see then again this year my favorite band 🥺

Emily actually usually does some really cool screams in faint outro and one step closer, especially at the show in Riyadh, and at the show in Brooklyn, she simply screamed while walking from one end of the stage to the other.

Emily was a guitarist before she taught herself to sing. She didn’t like the way others sang in her other bands so she learned on her own. In her band dead sara she plays guitar a lot. Less now than she used to but at least half their set she plays

I'm from brazil and it's good to see you talking about our country and of course we love Linkin Park so much, I thought I would never be able to see Linkin Park singing again and I'm so happy for this new era. What a moment to be alive !!!

I will see them for the 1st time in June.. Unfortunately just as a headliner at festival, but still I'm stoked as hell :))

I think Lost in the Echo is now my favorite live performance specially with Emily's vocals and the back-up vocals provided by Han and Phoenix. Also I did notice the new synth in the opening of that song and I gotta say I much prefer it compared to the studio version. If you get a chance, watch them perform this song at the Hamburg show, the back-up vocals really stood out in that performance.

Live performance of the year.

It’s the key change (they had to go higher or lower) in most of the songs that gives us an impression of a fresh and more modern sound. Ngl I love those new versions. Imagine how cool it would be to get a live album from this tour!

...talking about Casaulty and Mikes singing, I think he is syntetized to the rougnes even live, I like its sound but I heard the same as in the album and do not think it is his pure voice. 🤷 If it is a Im wrong 🤷

The recording does not do justice to the Brazilian crowde. Because it is an official broadcast, they use noise cancellers and you can't hear the volume of the voices. Then look for a recording of someone who was there, of "Heavy is The Crown", it's amazing!

Emily's first concert was good but she definitely had a few things to work on. But that day, 9/5/2024 was a special day for me, i cried throughout the entire concert! Shes brough a different life to the band. We all miss Chester, bur im glad they went a different direction while respecting yhe past.

Can't wait to see them in Italy in june. Need to travel from Norway since they ain't playing in Scandinavia. Expensive trip but so worth it

They have changed the keys for most of the songs to fit emilys vocal range, that’s why you keep hearing the songs different
