Thank you since it is so easy to get trapped into commenting about these abusers. Hence, did not realize that my negative comments also added to their revenue. Question: in one particular monkey story, the monkey chatters his mouth toward its dad owner captor and the audience comments how cute he is talking to his dad. Then dad says something and monkey chatters again. What is really happening here?????.

Btw it's not exactly all monkey haters it's more that they hate macaques. They love every other animal and every other monkey or primate but not macaques.

I have managed to recently curb my outrage and almost completely refrain from any comments.
I would like to ask, Monkey Sentinel, I usually use my phone nowadays rather than PC, but in reporting videos I'm not finding the subcategory on the YT app to report as animal abuse. Is there a way? I've switched to my PC so I can hot that sub category and add comments to the report but it's cumbersome.

I've watched some of the monkeys at the temple in Cambodia and when Candy got killed and the Bruno video came out I literally threw up . I tried reporting leaving comments but nothing works and the comments leave me speechless people actually don't see anything wrong and I can't understand how that's possible but it must be because they thank the VOs for helping the monkeys yeah helping them die it's left me very hopeless feeling because they are so open about it because they know nothing will happen to them

Just a reminder to everyone reading: only humans show their teeth when they are amused or happy. Any other animal, especially other primates, are either angry, threatened, or being aggressive when they show their teeth. But I'm sure most of the people watching this video know that already.

I fell into the monkey rabbit hole and was watching all of these monkey videos for a long time. This video was recommended to me. And I didn't think much about it, because of its immediate title and how the hundred different monkey channels all have some form of "monkey" in the name.

I eventually clicked on this. And it led me to more of your videos.

I feel dirty for being entertained by those manipulative monkey videos now, I really do. I'm sorry for having given them support through likes and views. Thank you for your work, honestly, your videos are a lot more important than even you may realize.

FINALLY a anti baby monkey abuse video that at least blurred the abuse for anyone seeking enjoyment from the abuse. I have ALWAYS thought if people who enjoy this crap wanted to see a whole video of several different babies being abused in different ways all they have to do is go to ANY "anti abuse" videos of baby monkeys hit click and ENJOY. I understand trying to get the point across against abuse but all you're doing is showing content of abuse and even showing where and how to look up more and new content for that person. And that's with any kind of anti abuse videos whether it be about baby monkeys, children, or other animals. So I applaud you for doing that! Finally someone trying to make a difference with an actual brain!

You know what's weird? There was a brief period of time, and i mean like two weeks, where I loved the monkeys, but also was incredibly likely to get triggered by them. Seeing REAL monkey torture...as well as the everyday psychological hell these babies go through...that set me straight, quickly. Now Im interested in primatology as a career path, and regularly volunteer at the two primate refuges where I live. I was just having a discussion with a friend the other day, wondering whether or not it was the Uncanny Valley that perturbed me. Best hypothesis I've got.

What's disturbing to me is that I highly doubt that people that live in a 3rd world country is enlightened enough to have the intelligence to utilize techniques like this. Considering the huge numbers of views logged on these types of videos, although I totally get the "don't comment" 'strategy', if a video has 29,000 views say, just for example, if I paste in my one line comment asking please report to Facebook AND with the link direct to the SMACC Report a Concern page, and just 10% do so, it is, I feel, worth the one comment.

I’m very interested to hear your insight on the upcoming uncanny valley video. Aside from the very obvious and vocal monkey haters, I’ve seen a lot of comments on videos where people say, “I love all animals and I would never hurt one, but these baby monkeys make me want to punt it like a football, and I don’t know why.”
Baby monkeys look more human than their adult counterparts, and the screaming and twitchiness of their movements is odd to us because a human baby doesn’t cry or move like that.
My theory is that baby monkeys look almost like human babies, but different enough to cause a sense of disgust in some people - some old, vestigial, animal reasoning inside of us that we’ve had since we were monkeys and apes ourselves, that says “this baby is deformed (or diseased), I don’t like it, or want to nurture it, it disgusts me.” Like how mother monkeys will discard a baby that seems unwell, or let them fall from a tree to die.
There must be some psychological reasoning why many people feel this way enough for the monkey hate to be “a thing.”
