Hey guys! Hope you enjoy this super practical way to get secret information from your spectator. Here are my two PRO TIPS to really make this a killer!

1) you CAN do a passcode or birthday but I always prefer doing an animal or object because to me the “mind reading” part is very important. So when I see the animal or the object, I ask myself “why would someone think of this?” With a skunk for example, I know Ekaterina lives near a forrest and it was summer so it’s likely that she thought of that because she had a recent unpleasant visit, use your head to make little assumptions based on what you saw.

2) it’s possible that a few of you noticed the moment it happened in the performance. But remember, context changes everything. You are sitting at home watching a tutorial video, knowing what’s about to happen. Your spectator in real life has no idea what’s about to happen and you can misdirect them with your gestures and words. Remember to be very casual about this and they will have no clue what just happened.

I was at this thing with my mom and dad and a mentalist comes up to us. He first gave my dad his wallet and showed us it only had business cards in them. My dad put it in his pocket. He then gave me a piece of paper and a pen and told me to write down the name of anyone I knew and turned around. I then wrote my friends name (Benji) and folded up the paper. He then told me to put it in my palm and make a fist. Next he asked me to think of the letter that is in the middle of his name. I thought about it for a half a second and then told him I got it. Then he said “I see you had to think of it for a second but then settled on N.” Then he asked for his wallet back and pulled out a random card and it said “Tell Benji I said hi” how tf did he do this? Please I need help I was astonished when this happen and I need to know how he did it.

It's a great trick, but you will need to practice a lot to get it to look convincing. It took me several hours over a few days to get it to look good.
