I wanted to hate this twist with like an eye-roll but my face just kept smiling and I ended up loving it SO much

I went from hating gabrial to being in aww at how cute and adorable him and bee are together as a couple

The look that Beelzebub gives Gabriel when he says she's the first person to ever give him anything is so sweet. ❤

It been 4 months. I am still in love with Good Omens and my favorite pairing became canon, I am in LOVE WITH Beelzebub and Gabriel love story. 🤗🤗😸😸

Kinda ironic the leader of both side are the shade of gray in this world when heaven and hell only think rules are black and white

You know what is the most ironic part about this? Their relationship is way similar to Crowley and Aziraphele in the book than their counterparts from the series.

this is what the universe needs.. dark to give form to the light, light to sculpt the dark. Crowley and Aziraphale, Gabriel and Beelzibub..

Why did they change actors for Beezlebub?

the only thing I was dissapointed in. was after binging the whole season in one go..first I wondered why the switched the actor of beel to a younger and more "attractive" person and then i watched episodes at first and Beel was still kinda demonic and unattractive cause the continued with the super dark circles under her eyes and they had her teeth all messed up and sores on her face. but when I got to the last epoisode and saw that Beel was now not wearing the eye makeup no sores..pretty white pearly teeth I was like.."Oh shit Gabe and Beel are gonna be secretly in love. Cause as usual a series is not gonna allow a relationship to be shown on screen unless the characters are pretty and traditonaly good looking. Sad and disapointed. sigh. otherwise great show. when Crowley kissed Azizalfell "spelling sorry' I was in tears...only to have the ending as the credits rolled to go from happy tears to bawling my eyes out in sadness.

So why change the actress?

The writers really knew what they were doing with the head bobbing scene. The realization that there might be more to life than heaven and hell sparked in their minds, not love yet, just a person they like. Then the extremely subtle touching, just a finger, because they’re curious and desperately want to know why they feel the way they feel.

i never pictured gabriel being a total idiot.

I really hope that in the 3rd season (fingers crossed that it happens) they will address that this is actually the third time we see an angel and a demon bonding over common things.
Azi and Crowley bonded over their love of Earth and humanity, and now we've seen Gabriel and Beelzebub bonding over how much they hated their jobs.
But there is also the case of Michael and Dagon who are both control-freak bureaucrats, who at least keep up a secret open line of communication.
And if Metatron freaked out about "one is an exception, two is a pattern", I'm curious how he would react to three, especially that out of them two are archangels 😁

I imagine that angels and demons are like that of a soul mate, one part that searches for the other and together they are strong and would “cause problems”. We see this with Azi and Crowley, clearly Metatron wanted to separate them on purpose.

I too would risk it all for them

When I originally watched season 2, I thought Beelzebub's strange behavior in the early episodes was due to a change in actor - I thought the new actor was just making different choices, which made the character seem off. But in retrospect, it makes so much more sense that they were acting weird, almost frantic over Gabriel going missing.

Beelzebub had rotten teeth, boils on her face and flies buzzing all around. But now she's a hot woman with perfect skin and teeth. I mean if demons can just look normal like that then whats the point of demons looking spoiled? This romance totally breaks the mythology constructed in the first season. I'm kinda disappointed by this.

Well some dumb people showed up in my life and did everything possible to convince me that I had "deamons" and to let them banish them I can neither confirm or deny the claim all I know is that queen made being gifted a deamons who is never allowed to cheat on me a vast improvement to actually attempting to date anyone hard pass never again and way to much effort for a few drops of sperm no matter what options you pick is like to congratulate the human race for being so worthless your Armageddon is nobody breeding
