Hey All!
I drew the winner for the Lulzbot Mini Printer between all patrons and viewers who signed up AND a patron with the name of "Beautiful Machines" won!
Thanks everyone for being around!
10.3 😂😂😂
Ответитьis it like a mini rotary phase converter but with dirty power and small
ОтветитьProbably the most entertaining science channel on the interweb ❤
ОтветитьThat was a great video man. I'm a electrical engineer and It helped me refresh some of the concepts I learnt in college, and also I learn some other things too. It's also crazy how you make a shortcircuit almost every 2 minutes 😅
ОтветитьSometimes I'm happy living in germany with our 3-phases (brown, black, gray + blue neutral and green-yellow grounding) wich every house gets.😅
ОтветитьThis is my first time but you're genius
ОтветитьIn Germany, we get all the phases, so we have the full version
ОтветитьGood job .......
ОтветитьThree phase can run single phase on each wire also. So, you can still power 120V equipment off of three phase.
ОтветитьMore wiring, but should provide more efficiency.
ОтветитьCan you help me how to make free energy with 3 phrase ac motor with arduino uno? I only just used pwm but what types of step up transformar along with arduino uno without arduino uno hurting them.
ОтветитьBro... Wheres your tamper resistant plugs in your residential home?
ОтветитьI nearly dropped my morning Chai tea ☕😔 when the first Boom 💥 happened 😅
Then i learned th leave the cup when he connects any thing.
But what a relief when the episode finished
Thank you for sharing such an amazing and hard to reach knowledge...very interesting!
ОтветитьAnd the motors, like 3 or 40 hrsprs will have a variable speed drive that soft starts by controlling the frequency the Hz so it gets full voltage but chop chop. Motors don't like to be started at low speed (low voltage) that's why fans always have off next to high. The sound of really big motors spooling up is fantastic. lol so random
ОтветитьAs much as I like his explanations - the amount of bangs and f***s sometimes really is annoying and distracting.
Is there a bang/f*** free channel for all his knowledge?
Highly entertaining, this guy is great!
ОтветитьThanks.
ОтветитьI love your way of explaining things. It makes sense, because youre not using fancy words.
ОтветитьYou are hysterical, and I'm glad you're out there getting kids interested in electronics. Never did it on 120V but I cannot tell you how many times I've left my meter in amp mode and the probe in the wrong plug trying to check a voltage 🤣
ОтветитьIs it true that 220V is just two out of the three phases of three-phase? I was sure I'd heard that it was actually the result of a tapped transformer instead, with the phases in sync. Was I misinformed, or is that true in some places and not others?
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьJeez I had been wondering what was going on with 2 and 3-phase AC for the last 60 years and finally someone provided an explanation that I could understand.
ОтветитьI have a three-phase supply to my apartment and to my cottage. Means my induction hob can boil water in seconds and I could operate a drill rig for a borehole.
ОтветитьThere is also a mechanical advantage to using three phase generators. With a single phase generator, there is an uneven load which varies sinusoidally which can place stress on the device. In contrast, a three phase generator, with a reasonably balances load across the phases, will have a roughly even torque loading, which helps with reducing stresses on the generator set and increases it's lifespan.
That happens in reverse too. A 3 phase motor will, all other things being equal, deliver a more even torque than a single phase motor.
The circuit diagram shown at the start of this movie is wrong. The 'phases' are the three coils… the conductors labelled 'phases' are, in fact, 'lines'!
ОтветитьI hope he is a Professor, because I've only watched this vid, but I can already say I'd love being a student of him.
ОтветитьWe learned so much about canada today...
Cheers for Ohm's law put in practice!
Eh, on a long distance you would only need two wires, because you can split them up to the outlets at the house. (And you do this, too, with the 3 phase system.) I don't believe that this is the reason for 3 phases. ;-)
BTW: I'm pretty sure that in the EU it is forbidden to have different phases in one housing for regular outlets. When you need more phases at once (i. e. for the oven), you get special housings without a regular outlet.
Educating and entertaining!
ОтветитьI believe you have an error. Canada and USA send single phase to a home and use a split phase transformer to get a center tap and generate two hot legs at 120v each and 240v on the two hot lines.
Ответитьtesla not invented 3 phase but polyphase with 2 wire/phase then 2 phase = 4 wire
ОтветитьWhy not fourth phase now
Ответитьthis channel is so addictive❤❤❤❤©©
ОтветитьI cant be serious with those cable explosions…
ОтветитьTrump won
ОтветитьWhy didn’t he just use the three phases coming out of the Controller?
ОтветитьIn germany nearly every House and flat geht’s 3 Phasen
ОтветитьIs there a such thing as two phase.
ОтветитьI cringed when I saw that shot
ОтветитьSo glad to see you still alive from random electric shocks😂
ОтветитьThe AC DC battle. That would have been one big dxck swinging competition. Free Julian Assange.
Ответитьyour a mad scientist but your awesome
Ответитьomg, why have i found this channel just now?
ОтветитьIf the YT app had a "multiple thumbs up" option, Mehdi's videos would always get maximum thumbs.
