Now we have to learn how to pray. Hey, wasn't that one of the objections Jesus had against Judiasm?

He that will get closest to God will see how filthy they are those things that are buried deep with in us i can not serve two masters the do nothing with out first revealing it to his prophets i am the worst amoung Gods people but his word doesn't return void it will accomplish what he sent it out to do i deserve to die but this is done for my good and his name for if the Lord does not change the heart it does not change for the carnal mind is the enemy of God his Grace is the only thing that saves and no one will stand before The Lord whith out it Jesus precious Blood and thou he slay me i will repent and turn again unto the Lord

You Calvinist, cessationist Christian have a well presented argument for your beliefs and videos of exposing false prophets, I mean, that's what 90% of all your videos are, but I honestly don't remember seeing one video from you guys where your intentions are pure or godly.

It's very clear to see and hear the dark/sinister "motives", behind the videos you make, and the "feelings", towards whoever you make it about, aswell as their listeners.

It's funny how almost all your videos are about exposing false prophets and teachers, yet in "1 John 4" (particularly verses) 7,8,11,20,21 (niv), it clearly states that those who show no love towards other men, don't know God, for God isn't in them. Which brings us a false prophets and teacher.

I really hope the teachers I speak of, (JP, Voddie baucham, John MacArthur etc), and the very tight knit community of followers that praise them, rather than god, Jesus or the holy spirit in the comments of their videos, are unaware of the pure evil and division, they are creating amongst fellow Christians, (lovers of God the father, Christ the son, and the holy spirit) regardless of what denomination we give ourselves. If we don't genuinely love each other, aswell as God, Jesus and the holy spirit, then theirs no point in pursuing the belief.

Main point I'm trying to get across to ALL believers in EVERY denomination of Christianity, may we all come together in Unity with honest, genuine love for one another and the same love for God the father, Christ the son, and the holy spirit. In Jesus name, Amen.

When I was six years old my teacher was a nun…she taught us how to pray…she said “ speak to Jesus every day as you would to your father…He is with you all the time so speak to Him in everything you do” ….I have done this all my life. I am 63.

The Old Testament is the Hebrew Bible and Judaism doesn’t recognize Jebus as the Messiah. Science is truth. Religions are dead.

I don’t know where any of you got your education but I went to school where we were taught to start at the beginning of a book and read it all the way through so that we could understand that letters form words and words form sentences and sentences form paragraphs and paragraphs from chapters and chapters form whole stories and whole books!! Why do you skip around!?!? <— rhetorical) Because that’s the way the liars taught you so that you couldn’t possibly understand the entire book and story! It’s called confusion!! Those people were predestinated to pray. They couldn't have done otherwise. Just as people today either pray or don't pray, not because they choose one way or the other, but because God causes them to make a particular choice. Of course, if God causes them to choose not to pray it's their own damn fault, and He punishes them for not doing what He decreed that they would do.
Or is theistic determinism not a thing?

There are as many reasons why Our prayers go unanswered, but a quick look see may be to consider; enter His gates( think tabernacle) with Thanksgiving, enter His courts with praise... they washed in the laver(word) inside the outer court was the shewbread,the incense,the lampstand,and behind the veil was the chest of the presence with the cherubim upon the cover of the ark, but any uncleanness was cause for the high priest to lose his life. So what do we make of that covenant? That our God is far beyond what we can understand and His ways are vast as the cosmos
It is by grace that we receive anything from him.

Enjoyed the video, but who entitled this “how to pray”? The title is a misnomer. I can to this video with an expectation on how to pray, but was disappointed.

Amen. I noticed the detail in Luke’s gospel this past week how Jesus spent the night praying right before choosing His apostles. The Almighty Creator Himself spending all night in prayer before making a big decision. Very eye-opening. Can’t believe I never noticed that detail before (God is awesome and gracious to let us constantly learn new things in His Word!) If Christ prayed before making a major decision how much more should we pray also!

IIn the Bible, particularly in the book of Matthew, Jesus commanded private prayer as a way to connect with God without seeking attention or recognition from others. Matthew 6:6 (NIV) states, "But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

God's children needn't grovel to have his attention. If you find yourself on your knees then praise God that he has called you to the honor of such a humbling posture. Otherwise, he's not looking for a performance in order that he may respond favorably to his Children's' requests. Faith is what is required; not duty.

How often have we searched for authors who have penned books on the secret of getting your prayers answered, thinking that there's a magic element we haven't found yet? How often have we approached the Bible as a magic lamp that if we rub it God'll pop out and grant us our wishes like a genie?

I had to fast forward through the transcript to see if he was going to deal with unanswered prayer. He did not. I wish he had. It's the most unbearable thing in this life.

Please pray for me to walk firmly with God every day and not be distracted by the lusts of this world. 🙏

I think every believer knows a prayer warrior. I know one named Alice Avery. I also remember an African Christian who had his legs hacked off by Muslims. The man recovered and became callused on his knees as well as he continued his ministry despite his mutilation

If memory serves Ted Turner's sister was deathly ill and he prayed to God to heal her. When she died he rejected God and never looked back.
