Ultimate hack? Find a comfort holiday of any other inn that offers free breakfast . They don’t check id or to see if you are actually staying there . At any truck stop you can ask a driver to use their shower credit . So boom breakfast and showers out the way . Of course their aren’t many truck stops in nyc

I love New York but won't be going back. Also treated me like a criminal when we got to passport control. Scanned my passport and said "Uh oh. What was your conviction back home?" I've never been in trouble in my life so this came as a shock to me! I said this to him and he told my wife to stay there, so we had to separate in a massive airport in another country whilst he took me to what was like a police station I guess in the airport and told me to sit down and wait. I was there for about half an hour and then got called up where all they did was process my passport and that was it! 😡 There was other men sitting in there too who presumably had the same thing done. Absolutely disgusting how they can treat tourists this way and make you feel like you're about to be arrested or something when you've done absolutely nothing wrong. So messed up. Put a real downer on the start of our holiday.

I would hate to live on $1 in new york. I know they have cheap pizza slices for $1 but they have the worst pizza in the U.S. If only Pizza Hut served slices for $1 but its soo good and high quality they can't afford to. Just think about why NY pizza is so cheap...inferior ingredients.

Its easier in London then the states...smh..the food prices in ny is bloody ridiculous. Actually mate you could have just gone to a welfare centre, you could have gotten emergency food stamps and welfare money. My mate did this challenge back in 2022 in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and he said he was struggling, and a homeless woman told him to go to a welfare centre..and received a food stamp card with money on it i think he said foid stamps for single..281$ and money is $97 he was laughing and was shocked...😅 Brilliant strategy on his part yea..👍🏻 You did good though mate.. cheers.

Manhattan was definitely the wrong place to do this type of stuff in 75 cents doesnt get you anything besides maybe a single piece of candy from a Bodega in the Bronx or Brooklyn also you might not want to whip out your camera too much on the subway you bump into the wrong person you have instant problems on your hands.... be careful glad you brought this series back though
