most of the deaths you listed on mount washington are due to small plane crashes....cog railway crashes and medical episodes...not deaths due to weather and terrain.
ОтветитьDevil's Path is incredibly strenuous but not dangerous. Barely any climbing and no exposure.
ОтветитьMost of the people who have died on Mount Washington were experienced hikers and climbers who chose to climb in dangerous conditions. Sometimes, no amount of preparedness and experience can save you. When in doubt, turn back, it's not worth your life.
ОтветитьI recorded a -5 with the windchill and 70 mph gusts in the first week of november about 25 days ago on mt washington....
ОтветитьSurprised Angels Landing is not in the list?
ОтветитьAh, yes, The United Provinces of America.
ОтветитьI was waiting for this one - Huckleberry Mountain with 563 grizzly bears determines this to be a very unsafe hike. But given your statistics, ten deaths since 1967 (55 years) makes your argument pretty weak. Why make sensational stories about an animal that prefers to be left alone? Why always equate wild with savage?
ОтветитьGreat video ❤️ 👍
It was very nice to see you all have a wonderful time and doing many nice activities
Mt. McKinley is now officially Denali. And rescuers charge the climbers for rescue.
ОтветитьPike's Peak is one of the least dangerous of the CO 14ers. It's long, but easy terrain. These lists are never accurate but that one's not even close.
ОтветитьWhy do so many people want to do this when they're are disaster zones or ways to serve the less fortunate
ОтветитьWell who made these trails?
ОтветитьWow, this video really shed light on some of the most treacherous hiking trails in America. It's both thrilling and nerve-wracking to see these breathtaking but extremely dangerous paths. The footage and narration gave a sense of the challenges and risks involved in venturing on these trails. Kudos to the hikers who dare to conquer these trails and to the video creator for showcasing these remarkable but perilous adventures. It's a reminder that nature demands our utmost respect and that safety should always be the top priority.
ОтветитьThe Maze isn't really a hike so much as a whole district of the park. It's probably used for overlanding and mountain biking more than hiking
ОтветитьMay everyone find joy in their outdoor adventures. Personally, mine is at a lake cabin cooking for loved ones in Northern MN. That brings me joys and we do take shorter hikes when the bugs are down. Be safe, enjoy your passions 🌺
Ответитьthat's bc there is always some idiot who has barely any experience hiking, coming along on a hike absolutely unprepared, out of shape and just underestimating (or under appreciating) nature
ОтветитьU forgot angels landing
ОтветитьMt Washington is in the top 25 most prominent mountains in the us it is by no means small
ОтветитьHalf dome is way too high on this list
Ответить"yeah we need the close the park down cause there's too many bears ...you can go at night though!" 🤦🤣
Ответитьthis guy doesnt know about longs peak
ОтветитьChigago south side
ОтветитьAbram's Falls is completely safe, unless you don't respect the rules.
ОтветитьGiven the accessibility and the high number of deaths and unprepared hikers that try it, I can’t believe Longs Peak is not on here.
ОтветитьHearing about bears makes me so happy that I live in the UK cause we have no dangerous predators here!
ОтветитьI experienced 115 degree temps in Death Vally NP .... For about 12 minutes. Then I got back in my car and drove back to Las Vegas!
ОтветитьHey Mom, I'll be right back -I'm going to "hike" Denali 😊😆🤣
ОтветитьMost of these are tourist hikes lol
ОтветитьHottest temp EVER in the US was 134 in Death Valley, California. Nowhere in the USA do temps routinely get to 130, as you say. Just be honest: The video stands alone as outstanding. You don’t have to lie to us to make it more interesting. — Also: It’s Denali, not Mount McKinley. McKinley never even saw that region of the world. — Neither did Admiral Rainier, Captain Vancouver’s good buddy. What a ridiculous name! That mountain should be called Tahoma.
ОтветитьHiked down Bright Angle trail in July. Only did 2 miles down. The hike up is all up hill. We were prepared with plenty of water sun screen and long sleeves and hat even though it was in the 80 degree range.
ОтветитьApparently this guy's never been attacked by the geese at my local state park
ОтветитьPretty sure Denali rename was well before this was published.
ОтветитьThe statement that there is snow on Mt. Washington year round made me doubt everything else he said.
ОтветитьI don't think classifying Mount Rainier as dangerous because it's an active volcano is warranted. It's not going to just erupt at any moment without warning. I have been on the Camp Muir trail, which is easily accessible as a hiker. From Camp Muir, it looks like the summit of the mountain is close, but as someone who has summited the mountain told me very directly, "the climb from Muir is completely different from the hike getting to Muir". If you're in good shape, you can get to Muir as a hiker in the summer. Only experienced and appropriately outfitted climbers should ever go beyond Muir.
ОтветитьThis list is definitely wrong
ОтветитьI dont think its fair to call Mt. McKinely a "hike" lol. Thats climbing a mountain not going on a "hike"
Ответитьthe White Mountains in NH don't have snow on them all summer ... but since a lot of people climb them and the weather can get ya ... problems happen
ОтветитьYou lost me at subscribe and like.
ОтветитьMisinformation. The "Mist trail" in Yosemite takes you to Vernal and Nevada falls. The steps up to Vernal get wet by way of mist from the falls. When crowded and if lack of focus happens, it definitely can be dangerous. But I believe you meant the "Glacier point trail"
ОтветитьThis video didn’t include the old trail I one found on the backside of a mountain that follows down a 70 degree slope.
Ответить130 degrees in the Grand Canyon? It gets hot (100f) but nowhere close to that.
ОтветитьThe most dangerous thing about these trails are idiots with selfie sticks making stupid videos about how dangerous these trails are.
ОтветитьPublished in 2020 and you still called Denali by the wrong name
ОтветитьIts pronounced Denali
ОтветитьLong's Peak in Colorado should've made this list
ОтветитьYour voice is annoying....and content lacking. Boring....
Ответитьthis was an awesome video!
ОтветитьThe White Mountains of New Hampshire do not have year-round snow on the highest summits. Many of the highest summits are bare rock and appear white from a distance.
Ответить
