They should let us go hoodless if we choose to. I've been wanting this since the original destiny.

The answer to the question of "why hoodless isn't just an option." Is Warlocks and Titans wouldn't get anything out of it, in fact their class items just kinda suck in general compared to Hunters'. Keep in mind that I have nothing against Hunters, I'm just telling it how it is. If all class items saw a major rework I would love to see this for Hunters

My first thought after finding out u can have helmet off was, ok now how do I put my hood down? Simpler times

I've literally been saying this since D1 vanilla. Bungies Art direction for armor has gotten soo bad that I'd rather take my hood off for 99% cloaks.

The Luxe Cloak is a hood down by default cloak wym these are the only two

What i think would be kickass is a version od helms that reveal or even expose a portion of the Guardians face,like a visor or a half mask.

The Praefectus Cloak also has its hood down and imo looks amazing as its not tied to any helmet, love rocking this with the Epialos Following mask ornament

I feel like they don’t give us the option because it’s only one class also another feature that I really want more than the hood option is the to be able to make both arms the same. Like there are so many arms and leg where one is different than the other side some are kinda cool but it bothers me so bad

There are more than two, there is about 6 cloaks you can do it with

I would wear the tiger helm but the solar glow it has ruins the look (unless your rocking a solar look)

the hunter silhouette is entirely based upon the hood... would suck in crucible imo and just for visual clarity among teammates in general

They have A LOT of time till next expansion they should 100% do this

I wish they’d give us 3 options: to show class item, hood down, and hide class item completely.

Better yet for hunters let us wear our hoods on top of our guardians head without a helmet on like how cayde and shiro or even any other hunter type character. Or even let us go into combat without helmets on as a toggle. Would be so amazing to see my exo hunter with a cloak on in cutscenes or in combat

Crazy idea… just take a break from a six month long season and when you come back in June everything will be different

I agree they should give us the option to wear hoods or not, but I also wish they give us the option to wear capes for titans.

This is nice, like forecomming character customization, however I'd rather all these development resources gone into things that make the game playability better.

Increase vault space & bringing back items we paid for that were vaulted. I.E. Tribute Hall, playable content, fixing long-standing bugs, etc.

Im still waiting for a cloak on titan...

Why stop there? There should be options to remove the cape too. Also and option to crop certain capes and make them shorter

The Omnioculus Mask combined with the Legatus Cloak (which is just a hood) makes it visually so that it's like you don't have a class item at all
