Late to the party I know. But the two girls in the video they definitely have the agenda. They are trying to push what they believe to be proper morals on other people. Very clearly they have an agenda and they also are trying to take your money by asking for you to join. And they are using a fear tactic. They are trying to incite you to be afraid of drag queens, while Trixie is telling you that she really doesn’t have an agenda. She’s just dressing up and there you have it.

These people think there’s an agenda because, in a way there is. It’s not about men becoming women or men wearing dresses. One of the girls even said it when she said, “everyone will think they can be whatever!” That’s it. That’s the big bad. Because in the fundamentalist mind, doing what you want to do and choosing your own path over God’s IS sin. One of the girl’s in the makeup video said she preferred when issues of morality were black and white so she could just do what she’s told. The goal is total obedience and anything that goes against that obedience is the enemy.

My conservative trad-Catholic mom once told me this is what she thinks of drag queens (“they’re a mockery of women!”) and I went along with that notion but now that I’m older and less brainwashed (also I no longer identify as Catholic) I disagree with her. To say drag is a mockery of women is similar to saying fursuiters are a mockery of real, nonfictional animals. And besides, gender, unlike race, is a social construct.

I see why Trixie keeps saying “I don’t know” to why the ladies are offended by drag. But they’re offended because drag and what it represents is a threat to white hegemony. It’s a grapple to remain dominant by them.

okay honestly, this is MY opinion and it could be very controversial so if you're sensitive don't read please.

to me it has always just looked like that a lot of people use religion to be assholes and have an excuse. i am personally someone who doesn't believe in anything but hears others believes and respects them unless they're rude to me about it or push their stuff down my throat. religions are just something that in MY eyes cause drama for no reason at all. yes, i will admit, religion is needed for humans due to the fact that we are simply not okay with receiving an unclear answer. it is within the human nature to wanting to know everything and therefore some people back than made a story up about something that is the answer to everything for the lack of a better explanation. they changed everything up to their own rules so others would follow them and that's how to me everything started to happen in religion. as i said tho, religion is needed because it can be very comforting knowing someone's loving you no matter what when you need it but i am very sure that we human could do extremely well if not better without any religion at all.
