loving the way you present your cocktails
ОтветитьFor REAL simple syrup use 2:1 sugar to water. (or as little water as possible.)
boil it up and you can keep at room temperature.
I add a small bit of vodka to mine.
if you keep your bottle clean it will last an incredibly long time.
1:1 isn't worth it.
i came for the cocktails, stayed for the velvety voice storytime
ОтветитьBrilliant! Thank you for these straightforward and classic gin cocktails. I have been adding simple cocktails to my at home bar for dinner parties and cocktail parties. These are all wonderful additions. Cheers!
ОтветитьI like how you didn’t just say “add syrup” and actually explained how to make it and how long it lasts. I never knew it was so simple and it’s one of the ingredients that puts me off
ОтветитьI find it somewhat amusing how none of these cocktail bartenders know how to open a bottle of sparkling wine, tbh
ОтветитьI'm a long term fan of the gimlet, but the Bee's knees is pretty damn good too.
ОтветитьGin-ness book of records 😂😂😂
ОтветитьGross. Ginger beer, Gin, Ice. Done.
Ответитьfun fact all eggs in the us are pasturized already so no sweat there
ОтветитьSingani 63 (Bolivia)
ОтветитьBest Gin Cocktails thank you.
Ответитьso the gimlet is a lot like a daiquiri but with gin eh?
ОтветитьI don't bother with simple syrup for home cocktails. I just put sugar crystals in the shaker with everything, except I leave the ice out until the sugar dissolves. Then I add the ice and shake again.
ОтветитьIf I have to bust out a frying pan to enjoy the cocktail I'm not having that cocktail
ОтветитьSome drinks using Zacapa Rum
ОтветитьI had just poured myself a gimlet before switching on this video. I made a stock sugar syrup from water, granulated sugar and a little acacia honey, to which I added the grated zest and juice of a lime. I brought this to the boil, simmered it for five minutes then strained it into a jug to let it cool. Once it was cool I placed the jug into the freezer for a couple of hours until it turned into an icy slush. I then poured the lime slush into a measure of Tanqueray 43% gin from the bottle I keep in the freezer. It is utterly sumptuous.
ОтветитьGordons breakfast is great.
ОтветитьThe rest of the world doesn't use Cup, pots and pans for measuring. Thumbs down.
Ответитьcan i use Cuervo instead of that?
ОтветитьVery yummy
Have you try Vampire's kiss?
That ginniger anniston was probably the best pun I’ve heard all year
Ответитьi want to add when making the clover club...if you're not as experienced please pour the egg white in a separate container then add...you dont want to accidently bust yoke in your almost completed cocktail and waste it
ОтветитьTake Five by the Dave Brubeck Quartet in the intro. Nice!
ОтветитьI like how you you use the shake time to tell a little story; very nice
Ответитьi cant help but ask, are u even drinking it? it kinda looks like you barely touch your lips to it lol id probably be taking much larger sips idk
ОтветитьI finally found my fellow Ginners! 🤗❤
Ответить“Hmmm maybe a little more than that mate” is that a reference to aunty donna’s pudding video??? 😂
Ответитьhave you tried the gimlet with the home made lime cordial featured in How To Drink's channel?
ОтветитьWo stir shy er
ОтветитьCan we use honey instead of sugar syrup?
ОтветитьThank you so much! Just bought my first bottle (Gin) and the result was spectacular
ОтветитьGordon’s is a terrible gin. Now Hendricks, that’s a gin. Great video though.
ОтветитьNah dude, that’s not a classic gimlet…the classic variant is made with lime juice cordial as you pointed out, which is more than just a bit of sugar and juice, therefore it tastes really different than what you made and your point about real cordial being obsolete is not correct
Ответитьmy go-to gin drink is definitely a lime gin fizz. always refreshing and great tasting
ОтветитьLove the Brubeck! Someone should make a cocktail and call it a Brubeck.
Ответитьtry hendricks gin for mixing with cocktails
Ответить
Wer gerne Gin trinkt, der sollte unbedingt mal reinschauen!
LG
All your drinks have citrus fruits in them only, perhaps you forgot about grapefruit, orange and mandarins LOL
Ответить👊🏿❤️👌🏿 love it cheers
ОтветитьIm still waiting for the SERIOUS winner. Gin Hass!
Glass full of ice cubes.
4 Cl of Gin.
4 Cl of Mango syrup.
Fill up with Lemon soda.
Stir a bit while gently squeezing a small Lime boat and top it with the fruit.
A TRUE winner ;)
for Gordon's breakfast I would juice the limes, add juice and remains of limes instead of just lime pieces.
ОтветитьI prefer a 2 to 1 simple syrup. It will keep pretty much indefinitely in a sealed container because the higher sugar content doesn't allow bacteria to thrive in there. You just use a bit less
ОтветитьAwesome! With this video you got my likes. The most attracting and satisfying part for me is that you nobly drink after finishing :) Awesome!
ОтветитьSoo I made my mom a gimlet and it seems she doesn’t have a tolerance at all as she got really drunk after just one.
ОтветитьThe guy focuses the camera like he's making onlyfans content
Ответить1) Get an old fashioned glass.
2) Place a bottle of dry vermouth next to it.
3) Fill the glass with large clear ice cubes.
4) Add your favorite gin to near the rim.
5) Garnish with lemon rind and bar straw.
6) Put the vermouth away.
7) Serve
8) Repeat.
