I tried on a pair of Skinny jeans and they only exaggerated how skinny I am. Didn't like them!

I stopped buying Levi’s when they made it outside US. I still have my “Made in USA” 501 that i bought back in 1997. The one that’s foreign-made only lasted a year. The stitches was bad. The quality were not the same as it’s used to.

I just bought the Levi’s 550 jeans size 33x32.

The waist and length are perfect. The legs are way to big and baggy.
Who likes that? Look like they are designed for someone with fat legs.

Stopped wearing Levi’s years ago when they changed their 569’s to sit below the waist. The better option is Silver Jeans out of Canada. They are far more comfortable, and they have several styles that sit above the waist.

Good breakdown! I am larger guy, I wear 501 and 505s, but I think I might give the 514 a go.

I don't wear any other jeans except Levi's. I wear 501s and 505s in different shades of blue. After you've worn and washed a pair of Levi's a couple of times, they actually do start to shrink to conform to your body. This not only makes them comfortable, but they start to enhance your best assets. This doesn't happen with any other jeans. Other jeans look sh*ttier the more you wash them. Levi's look better as they age.

No, you're wrong about the synthetic additives. REAL blue jeans are ALWAYS 100% COTTON. When I was a teenager in the late 60s early 70s, a pair of Levis would easily last 5 years before I'd have to start patching them. That's a Real pair of jeans. These with the synthetic additives falls apart after a year.

No longer buying Levis. They promote abortion, Lbgtzyz, etc. That goes against christian values.

Forget about all the numbers and just remember one: Levi's 512. This goes with every outfit. Every occasion. Makes you look lean, but sporty. Gives you the Men's health look. Other brands, same cut: Diesel "Tepphar" and Replay "Anbass". Buy those and never a different one again. You're welcome.

Stretch material for jeans is a abomination. You call it performance material, I call it material for lazy people. What do i mean by that? Regular denim that doesn't stretch was always a good indicator if you had gained a couple extra pounds letting you know you need to get to the gym or adjust your diet. With stretch material that indicator is gone. I don't think stretch material is for "performance" as much as it is for people who dont want to acknowledge they're getting fat. And of course you have to give it a positive name like "performance" material when in reality its for the lazy. When have you not been able to perform in regular denim?

Do Levis' Jeans also scuff off material at the groin area?

Ultimate tip is to NOT buy any Levis 501. Poor quality for high prices, my last one cracked after not even 2 years of occasional wearing. This is nowhere near to be sustainable as they just promoted. Avoid.

6' and 240lbs.. found 511's fit me the best. Every other type assumes my 40" waist also includes massive legs and backside. Everything is baggy.
