That's crazy amazing weld!
ОтветитьIf I could weld half that good, I’d feel great. Nice work.
ОтветитьEyecrometemer = Ojimetro
ОтветитьHey I’m new to welding what would you need that much water for welding really curious
ОтветитьHi Austin I bought a handheld welder brand Spark with a dial knob on top that goes from 1-5 1/2 how can I set it up to weld with a E 7018 3/32 rod what’s ur advice, I got this machine just to do little things around the house
ОтветитьI might have hung it a little bit higher. In Oklahoma the vegetation will grow in and get in the way when you open and close.
The welds look great. I still haven't mastered vertical 7018 so I would have probably used 6010.
Make a sliding tongue the entire length of the trailer.
ОтветитьLove the channel Austin. Thinking about doing a pipe fence. I'm in central FL and have a few questions. This fence is just raw mild steel correct? You don't treat it with anything when finished? Left raw and in the elements, how long does one expect to get out of these fences before they start rusting away? Thanks man. Stay safe out there.
ОтветитьThanks for a great video. When doing portable (with gen) welding - why do you prefer to use a stick welder instead of a mig welder?
ОтветитьI had the exact problem of balling when I first started turned out I was moving too fast😂
ОтветитьHay, I dig that grease fitting on the hinge.
Ответить# 10 rod. fillet weld.
ОтветитьWhere can I get them hinges
ОтветитьDefinitely a skill to learn as you'll never know when to need it.
I got my welder last week and have some cool blobs and popcorn splattered everywhere lol
Good lord, that exhaust flapper is atrocious while at idle 🤣
ОтветитьDónde estas ubicado ??
ОтветитьFinally welding at 13 minutes in.
ОтветитьExcuse me how money you have invested on your truck equipment!😐
ОтветитьYou cud do dirt work asWell to Gain more Income or Partner w a Close Associate to Provide a Wider range of Services
ОтветитьHow do you do the “caps” on the top of your post?
ОтветитьQuick question are you taking the slag off???
ОтветитьThat is the correct way to a vertical weld.retired nuclear welder
ОтветитьWho needs a TIG machine when you can weld uphill with 7018 like you do! Wow that's the best looking uphill 7018 weld on the web!
ОтветитьYour little finger knows more about welding than I do, so I have what may be a simple question. Why not use 6010 for your root pass to get more penetration?
Awesome video, thanks!
I would like to come down if I’m ever invited down there to learn and help you for like week or something first hand pick up ticks and tips to improve my welds right now we are putting up oil field pipe cattle working facilities but would like to learn more
ОтветитьVERY NICE WELDS... SIR ,,THANK YOU.
ОтветитьWhere do you get the hinges or do you make them?
ОтветитьTry to add a camera or 2 placed at a different angles, for us viewers to get a depth of Welding works 👍
ОтветитьThis is great, I love welding but I never get to do enough of it. Im self taught, I'm no expert, I can lay a decent Bead but uphill is always a challenge. I've never used a 7018 rod though as I believe you need a DC capable machine? Anyway, I need lots of practice with uphill welds
Ответитьnice work sir
Ответитьthe way i learned in OK 1980s
Ответитьalways weld up
ОтветитьGreat Job
Needs a shot o grease to stop it ceasing up
Those fence rails seem to be quite different in height.
ОтветитьAnother thing to consider when hanging gates is of the gate is used while there is snow on the ground some guys around here like there gates hung alittle high so they can open freely with snow on the ground
ОтветитьI know you weld with 5/32 7018 on the gates is there anything wrong welding hinges with 1/8 7018?
ОтветитьGreat
ОтветитьGreat video. I just discovered your videos and thank you for your tips and knowledge. Lucky you don’t have to contend with snow pack in winter. It’s a killer on gates you can’t adjust the height.
ОтветитьFirst time in 8 or so videos I’ve seen you weld the way I was taught uphill. Looks good enough for the girls I go with.
ОтветитьI'm not worth a crap going up the hill I'm going to try your advice out by what you said I think I'm running to much heat thanks for the info I need it
ОтветитьHey Bub… I’m new to your channel. You do a great job with everything from quality of work to explaining the process at hand. I’m 44yrs welder by trade. Most of all my work had been structural/Millwright shutdown work. I’m curious if you would recommend someone such as myself to jump into working solely for myself. “Into days economic status” I have no interest in outages/shutdown work. I’m more interested in gates,Equipment etc….. any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
ОтветитьAs my brother says we weld for function not fashion
ОтветитьI'm not questioning your expertise because i dont know anything but why 7018 on your "root" pass and not 6010? Just going off of what I've seen on other welding videos and am trying to learn.
Ответитьnice weldings,nice job,keep enjoing!!
ОтветитьGreat weld from a master welder
ОтветитьYou could build a sliding tongue on that little trailer and slide it out when you want to haul longer items.
ОтветитьBoss I’ve been around welding my whole life and I have never seen a stick weld as neat as what you do. Excellent work buddy.
