1,000 steps is about 2/3th of a kilometer, or 8 to 10 minutes of walking, I got board and counted how many steps it takes to reach my house to the store in my town lol 🤣

Edit, now that I think about it, if each tile is like a meter (3'6") or so, then that's three steps, turning 1,000 into 3,000 steps, making it half an hour per walk, a 2 kilometers walk, give or take... 🤔

What i DON'T like about this is that Pokemon are a bit more smarter than our animals.
We can hear them cry helplessly as they bleed out to death. Anyone remember that scene in the Alolan Pokemon League with Ash and Guzma and his Golisopod did huge damage to Pikachu's stomach? Imagine those cries by another Pikachu as a poacher starts cutting it's limbs off.
