Although Holmes explains what led him to suspect Barham (his facial scar), there is no explanation of how he learned what happened to the real Evan Barham nor how he identified the imposter as Heinrich Von Bork of the German Secret Service. About the only explanation I can think of is that Meade knew the entire story and he told Kitty, who then reported it to Holmes. But the movie gives no indication that such was the case. This was a major plot failure -- it should have been explained

Thomas Gomez always reminded me of the face and body of Tweedle Dee & Dum in alice in wonderful...why he was never cast or his voice used because of similar facial features, etc...who knows... LOL.

Real good entertainment

Exellent movies. No underlying ideologies, cgi, unnecessary gore, or violence. Actors had a certain class and decorum with morals and ethics as a given. I don't feel like I'm being sold on anything like theme parks and gratuitous things that people and actors in Newer movies seem to have an excess of. It's just a good, entertaining story that's easy to follow and fun to watch. So called "entertainers" today should take notes because not everything has to be bigger and better with more shock. Thank you for putting these out for everyone.

I've never seen a more cheesy, corny, in your face, jingoistic piece of movie in my life.. But I love it.. It's 1942, England has just won the Battle of Britain and they are fighting the Nazis.
If we were in WW3 today against Russia or China the Gen Z-ers would try to silence anyone calling Chinese Chinks or Russians Reds.. Of course they would whine cause there was no soy milk in the store, to hell with the 5000 sailors going down with an aircraft carrier..
