Def agree, also a huge fan of GW2! Favorite and most played game of my life. Always come back, wondering why I take breaks and play other games bc gw2 provides so much. Gw3 will be worth the wait, arenanet isn’t perfect but they are damn close. Gw3 and a reimagined and updated new Tyria would be amazing for all of us who are fans plus gives a chance for new gamers to join in. Hopefully they bring the best of gw2 and refine what they want their game to be. I’m good for the fun talks about anything gw3, timelines, themes, classes and races, whatever anything but understand its going to some time and I’ll be here when they are ready.

I'm tired of GW2, the last expansion is boring, I want GW3, also GW2 cannot grow, only players like us with 10.000 hours of playing time are still in the game. Guildwars needs new players. and an new engine. a new version.

They seem to have only been testing exporting gw2 assets to UE5. I don't think they even know what they will do with it. Might be another mmo if they think they have a fresh take or since they are probably gamers playing many other games maybe they have a fresh take on another genre and are exploring using gw2 assets and IP to make something new.

Playback speed on 1.5 makes this bearable to listen

I hope it doesn't happen. This is an mmo and not an fps. It is not easy or quick to start the process all over again, the grind, the time invested.

If Gw3 even comes out it'll be around 2028-2030 i reckon. That's a lot of time for Gw2 to exhaust all it's content and wrap it up cause it'll be outdated at that point with newer and better titles coming while recent ones still have the potential to improve every year. I love Gw2 but sometimes dealing with it's flaws day to day can be a chore. If not for it's one of a kind gameplay philosophy I would've yeeted myself out long ago. I'm hoping for a next gen version with that same philosophy.

Anet said it like milion of times that they are not planning to work on GW3, because they still have a lot of ideas to provide GW2 with new content and expansions. And even if they are secretly working on new GW game, it will be nothing like GW2 or GW1. They will only share tittle for the marketing reasons. Same as they did with GW2 release.

My man, there is no GW3.

Give me Guild Wars on mobile, and Gw2 on Unreal!

I think we're looking at a gw3 release, if everything goes well, for the early 2030s. Personally I don't see the current model for gw2 continuing past 2025, maybe we'll get a fourth expansion in 2026 if we're lucky. i could be wrong, maybe we'll get five, six... But I don't see it at all. I don't even think it's sustainable. I think they will stop expansions at some point, relatively early on, when they have roughly figured out what they want to do with that gw3 game. And then development will be in full motion
