Why is this lady yelling
Ответитьadd water only to the very bottom of the growing space, to give plenty of room for air.
ОтветитьToo much nutrition. Try straight lunar soil without adding nutrients.
and
Try various ratios of moon soil with standard garden soil.
Have they looked into an aeroponics system? It eliminates the use of soil.
ОтветитьNever will happen,The moon not really made out of soil to grow things,Made out of rock and dust,If Im wrong,Like to see it to beleive it,No chance of reform the moon to another Earth like planet,That wont happen
ОтветитьThis video is aimed at children?
ОтветитьThe outpost would exist if we didnt abandon the moon in the late 20th century
ОтветитьA minor correction: the van Allen belt is not the name of the magnetic fields around Earth.
A major correction: objects in the ISS experience far more gravity than objects on the Moon. The "weightlessness" or "microgravity" is caused by the continually changing direction vector as it orbits Earth.
This video said, “due to the moons rotation” that is misleading. Just like most of the hints in this video.
ОтветитьMoon soil is unimportant aquaculture works and does not require soil.
ОтветитьThe answer is hundreds of varieties of seed to sprout, or to grow micro-greens, or to grow in pots, or to use in hydroponics. The Astronauts would not lack in variety of flavor, nutritional value, or ease of use. Also, essential would be herbs and spices by the ton, bouillon flavorings, and finally mushrooms. Raising fish, chicken, goats using fodder to feed them along with black fly, crickets, and earthworms should be rather straight forward. These things simply need to go there first, of course after a habitat is established, and be setup to be self sustaining and immediately useful through the use of robotics.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThis activity should be underground. Without an atmosphere, meteorites strike the moon's surface intact and at high speed. The system would need sufficient protection against such a strike which would be difficult above ground.
Ответитьhow about mushrooms? that would be adorable, lil moon shrooms :3
ОтветитьBut things are different on the moon, there is some gravity that can pull water down on the plants in a habitat. Plus you can add to the soil to make it useful for plants.
ОтветитьDoing something like that might just weight down the Moon to Earth.
ОтветитьSpread the gospel before it’s to late Jesus died for are sins jeuse is coming soon jeuse is are lord savior
ОтветитьMushrooms are more suitable for space growing. They DON'T NEED light or a lot of other things that plants need .
ОтветитьHer PhD should be revoked, she's using tired, fatfaced, hackney analogies like she was talking to a kindergarten child.
ОтветитьFascinating
ОтветитьWhat about luner water 🌊🌊
ОтветитьSo it’s possible they could grow certain plants…But clearly would need to be in bullet (mini meteor) proof greenhouses, with LEDs, to provide optimum light and an oxygenated atmosphere that keeps a tolerable temperature?
ОтветитьMaybe some microbes could 'sequester' the problematic metals, etc.
ОтветитьSo, regolith taken for deeper layers should be better, perhaps? This seems like it would be easy to achieve given enough infrastructure: soil mining.
Ответитьinstead of growing plants in the toxic medium, why not filter the medium, extract the metals and then grow in the remaining medium
ОтветитьThey mention how more "aged" regolith caused more stress. Would it help to just dig down to unweathered regolith? How far down would they have to go?
ОтветитьI'm already growing hair on my moon
ОтветитьTo become "soil" the regolith needs to have the same or similar fungal mitochondria and bacteria found in our Earth based soils. The material is dead until it is given these.
ОтветитьInteresting!
ОтветитьYo moon weed 🤣
ОтветитьHaving something positive and uniting like a lunar base would be great for humanity
Ответить🌄👍🖖
Ответитьsmokin on that Lunar OG
ОтветитьI hate when ppl like this speak like they know more than you…
ОтветитьVery interesting
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьThere's too much radiation duh
ОтветитьOne day look up moon green plants
ОтветитьMrs Charlotte is legit and her methods works like magic I keep on earning every single week with her new strategy.
ОтветитьHi WIRED Team, I've made a Concept Feature short film, INVERSAL : THE TIME-MAN. It's Sci-fi Thriller genre and it's on my channel homepage (MWM),
When you guys are free, please check it out, would love your comment and feedback 😊
"You mean, he's going to plough the moon's surface? What ever will he plant?!"
-- Mikey Blumberg, Recess: School's Out (2001)
Stinging nettles would be good to grow. They are hardy and very nutritious.
ОтветитьImagine if they could spend this money on earth to protect the planet we are living in ….
ОтветитьIn the thumbnail it is funny he has a space suit but sowing plant in a zero environment
ОтветитьStop lying to us earth is flat, y'all should accept It.
ОтветитьSoil is not necessary for growing plants. The much bigger problem is the lack of carbon dioxide and nitrogen. Hydroponic greenhouses grow massive amounts of food with no soil, but they spend a lot of money just to blow fresh air over the plants to help them get more CO2 and grow faster.
