You can still buy this new. Mine has a newer instant start ballast in it. Search your local home improvement store for AFX-Amherst-24-38-in-Aluminum-Sconce-with-Acrylic-AMC117R8

Such a nice light.

I think the reason one socket is different than the other is because it is a circuit interrupting socket. Many trigger start ballasts including the one in this fixture require a circuit interrupting socket.
