I thought Verizon backed everything up to the cloud. My phone was taken from my table in outdoor restaurant. Over a decade of pictures. Version was just l8ke Apple. This video made me sick all over again.
ОтветитьLast time I looked, Greece was in Europe 😉
ОтветитьIve recovered data, from a phone that was ran over by several cars, had to buy a couple kits online but i got all my data, even had my phone from 10 years ago i lost numbers on and was able to recover those. both phones were super smashed, and my 10 year old one had water damage, i was able to recover all the data,
ОтветитьI wanted to train myself to repair phones until I discovered your channel. Now I’m happy I didn’t waste my time. If I have to resort to pirated programs or some janky other programs to make phones behave the same as they would when you buy them new, then there’s no point in repairing. Just buy a new phone.
Ответитьjust a question. what bout icloud photos
ОтветитьI find it despicable that no value is being shown by Apple towards their consumers data. The whole point of a device is data! What’s the purpose of no help is being given to try and retrieve customer data? I’ve been watching Louis and Jessa repairing these devices and used that to start Microsoldering in my area, it’s a great feeling when you fix a device that the customer thought was “beyond” repair and have all of their data intact! Great work Louis and Jessa!
ОтветитьI had a ipod nano 2nd generation and it was the worst mp3 player I have ever owned.
I needed to buy a laptop then download itunes and then make an account just to put music on the piece of shit
and i could only transfer 1 song at a time which took me 2 days as I had at the time nearly 2000 songs.
I will never buy any apple devices for the rest of my life I wouldn't even wipe my arse with one.
the husband at the start all "uh huh" "yeah pretty much" "okay" and then suddenly starts talking normally again when he sees the pictures
it annoyed me at first, but now it's kinda nice
watching Jessa, i fixed a thermal camera, just using her techniques.
ОтветитьFruits gone off
ОтветитьApple are really trying hard for the Streisand Effect.
ОтветитьIt’s not only the behaviour of Apple in such cases, in many other industries we see this.
The problem is the financial business model: shareholdervalue first and greediness. as bigger a company becomes, as more money they burn they need to keep up their sales.
What Jessica and Louis are doing is great.
It’s a first step to stop those big companies acting like that.
When more people know that 95% can be recovered, guess what happens?
Mahalo and Aloha
Can you get a disabled iPhone XS from too many failed passcode attempts back to the passcode attempt screen? Nothing is backed up on it but the, "Erase all data after 10 attempts" was not enabled, so the data should be there. Whats the point of even having the option to have the data intact if in every outcome it will not be able to be recovered?
ОтветитьFuck Apple
ОтветитьStop buying Apple shit! Disgusting company!
ОтветитьMaybe they dont want hackers geting data off such phones.
ОтветитьThis is the kind of woman that should be a role model to girls and women everywhere, rather than some doll faced influencer with a princess complex. Rolls up her sleeves and gets shit done herself. What a powerhouse.
Ответить"not unless you have money to burn" being used as a taunt by apple "customer service" employees is hysterical
ОтветитьDrive savers can recover the data- they just need your password you used.
ОтветитьThat’s a sad commentary on Apple, spreading false information that the photos were gone and couldn’t be recovered. Even worse, censoring true information form others that contradict Apple’s lies.
After the iPhone was repaired, and the photos were recovered, did they finally back up their iPhone to the Apple Cloud. Or, are they still using the iPhone without a backup?
Can’t agree more. The beauty however is that my 7 year old dead in the water iPhone 6 that fell with me into the pool and was deemed unfixable, 10 days ago was fixed by a 10 class drop out, in mumbai, India. I love/hate apple and pray for the day a new startup gives them their comeuppance.
ОтветитьThat's because they make money on cloud backup and that they want all of your data so they can rate and track you to make sure you're being a good citizen
ОтветитьWhat's in it for Apple to not recover data? It seems like they are advertising themselves as a shit company if they don't know how to recover data. Saying "Hi, we are shit and don't want your money, go to Samsung or Alcatel/Motorola/Huawei/LG and buy a phone that you can recover data from if damaged". Why would Apple want to lose money?
ОтветитьContact the name above he can help you out
Ответить☝️☝️
ОтветитьAll because of Steve Jobs and keeping products a closed system.
Ответитьfrack apple and their disgusting customers.
Lets get the new one honey.
nothing wrong w the old one deer.
1.9 million views !!! Wow !! Impressive Rossmann !! Rossmann for President!!
ОтветитьApple is a crocked company greedy to the core!! What ever happened to helping people??? I'm currently learning how to repair my own items and when I get more experience, I hope to help people fix their items too, I WILL NOT REPAIR APPLE PRODUCTS!!
ОтветитьI would work in this shop for free 🥺
ОтветитьI wondered why would Apple insist that someone’s data was gone when in fact it wasn’t. The obvious answer is that they preclude such recovery options so that they could offer additional products and services that purport to do these things so they can charge people for it. Services like iCloud are part of it. They want everyone to back up their data on their own backup stream so that people are forced to purchase their iCloud storage.
ОтветитьKudos to Jessa Jones. It makes sense otherwise the photos would be lost when the phone is turned off or the battery runs down to empty. Of course they are still there just like a eMMc, SSD or flash drive, SD card, compact flash card, micro sd card etc. retains the data. You just need the high level skills to recover them!
ОтветитьOnce you start toying with people about their data, that's when things start to get personal. What is wrong with "Yes, we can probably recover, but we also recommend a new phone becuse we cannot guarantee the life span of a device that's been submerged." That's called the truth. And the data can survive a complete submergen is good publicity! Your data is that protected. But you also really cannot guarantee what components are damaged and may fail.
ОтветитьThat's why i always back up all my photos. 😊
ОтветитьI need a high value friend like her.
ОтветитьBeing banned from your AppleID is just a way of showing you did something right.
ОтветитьI don't understand how someone can find you from saying that a recovery especially here inside the United States isn't that part of freedom of speech also something wrong with this picture but I do this. How can someone ban you from saying something when you have the right to speak and say whatever the hell you want to say but anyway as a data recovery person you can recover data any which way you can possibly can this X Y even opened up hard drive remove the platter from one hard drive onto another and recover the data there's other times what I need to do with just plugging play take it off of one machine and put it into another and yank all the daughter off of it even make special equipment just for this in a clean Rome and a sterilized room but I still don't get how the courts a government can ban you from saying something even a corporation freedom of speech and if you can do it or guess what you walking the walk but again comes down to freedom of speech
ОтветитьThe problem with her analogy at the end of the video, where she compares Apple to the kid in class where you borrow their crayons... is that you didn't borrow the crayons. You bought the crayons and they are still trying to tell you what you can do with them. If it is my hardware, I should be able to do what ever I want with it. If I borrowed it, then yeah, the owner should decide. Its like when you 'buy' a car using a car loan. The bank is the owner till you pay it, requiring you to get full coverage insurance is really the least you can do... yet often that is all they require.
Since Apple is primarily a hardware company, they don't want you to repair your device. They want to you buy another one. This is a massive conflict of interest on their part if they say they will offer service.
Its almost as if they are trying to steer people into giving up all their data privacy rights to apple. Especially when you factor i the fact that they're knowingly lying.
'The only way you can protect your data, is to give it to us. We promise we'll do nothing but keep it much safer than you ever could. There is no other option'. Isnt it strange how these companies and governments answer to everything is more power for them, less rights and privacy for us? Have you ever heard a company like apple say anything like, 'the best solution to this problem, is for us to have less control'?
Should of sent it to drive savers
ОтветитьWake up people. You can repair an apple phone. Maybe apple cant help but you can do it.
ОтветитьTy Louis 🙂.
ОтветитьWow, it's amazing that no one has ever sued apple for misleading them when asking for help.
ОтветитьI've worked for Apple. It is most certainly a communist institution. They are spying on people, charging them an absurd tax for using (you don't own) their products, and reeducating people to a lifestyle of dependency on them. Corporations are governments, people. Wake up, already!
ОтветитьNever thought someone can use their PhD as that
ОтветитьSuch a badass
Ответить
