Maaaan.... Bobby could sell with the best of them
ОтветитьBrain broke his neck the year prior to this. A 7 hour surgery was needed 9 years later. So he did all this with a broken neck.
ОтветитьCuriously, Heenan was just 40 years old, even if he looked quite older; but he was in amazing shape. Don't get confused because he didn't look like Hogan or any of the modern wrestlers, he could run circles around anyone and also he was one of the best bump takers ever.
ОтветитьIs it me or is Heenan better than 99 percent of talent today
Holy mackerel
Best and most entertaining match I’ve seen in years
Heenan was the ultimate heel in the business.
ОтветитьGreat victory for a legend
ОтветитьBobby was so underrated. I saw Bellomo in person a few times, come to think of it the entire 80s i don't recall him winning a single match. Him and Frank Williams never won.
ОтветитьYou know you're a jobber amongst jobbers when you lose to a heel manager.
ОтветитьBellomo the guy with the pipe cleaner arms!!!!
ОтветитьLol, you think Bellomo’s push might’ve been over? Getting pinned clean by a manager. Oof.
ОтветитьThey hand picked Salvatore to work this match with Heenan. Both evenly matched in size. Great match, two skilled workers out there. They could both sell. They tell a story without taking 15 minutes out of the beginning of the Raw broadcast.
ОтветитьHeenan, I would say Bobby really knew how to throw them hands. He looked like he would've been tough in a fight.
ОтветитьBobby could really work, match looks very realistic.
ОтветитьBobby had a break in neck here?
ОтветитьWhat is amazing is that Salvatore Bellomo later became a bearded madman on various small Eastern Indy Undercards. The complete diametric opposite of his cleancut Babyface presentation here!😂😉🎤🤼♂️B.W.
ОтветитьThe brain is the goat
ОтветитьCrazy how dynamic and agile he was. I knew he had been active in the past, but usually I didn't see how good he could be after he started managing. Seemed more he stayed
to his schtick as a manager/commentator or else got in the ring for more comedic effect as some kinda novelty.
Bobby Heenan I had no idea was ever even a wrestler till today
ОтветитьYou could tell where Salvatore’s career was going
ОтветитьBobby gets the winner's share.
Fair and square!
Everything bobby did was first class hes truly one of the finest to ever be in the business in any capacity.
ОтветитьDr. D called. He wants his outfit back
ОтветитьBobby the Brain lived up to his name by outsmarting Bellomo at the end. He clung to the ropes, preventing Bellomo from flipping him, delivered a hard punch to disorient Bellomo, then orchestrated the best type of pin possible. He sat right on top of him, no way that Bellomo was going anywhere after that. ❤
ОтветитьSo glad to see Bobby win this match. Bellomo was freaking annoying.

Bobby Heenan vs The Big Boss Man (Dark Ball & Chain Match)
I found a total of 127 matches with the WWF. Mostly tag matches with the Heenan family. I was surprised with the amount he worked, especially after the neck injury he had in 1983.
Heenan with the size advantage??
ОтветитьThis match looked more realistic than 98% of the WWE matches you see today.
ОтветитьThe Brain goes to the pay window!
ОтветитьClassic
ОтветитьHe was a artist Heenan.I always remember him as pretty boy Bobby Heenan.God Bless you where a artist He always wanted us to hate. .And we. All wind up loving ❤ him
Ответитьsneak a punch and turtle away from any retribution. What a heel.
ОтветитьRIP SAL
ОтветитьHeenan was always a lot of fun to watch. I loved some of his old AWA matches.
Ответитьwant to teach young wrestlers to entertain :watch this rasslin bout ...great job to wwwf n big thanxxx for this video !
ОтветитьHeenan let Andre the Giant borrow that singlet three years later for WM 3.
ОтветитьHeenan was never actually trained, he was booked and wrestled early in.his career; and he managed part time when not wrestling. Mr. Heenan could work the business In all phases; very talented gentleman. RIP Brain 🧠
ОтветитьMiss you Salvatore Bellomo R.I.P
ОтветитьThe Brain wins fair and square... Yes yes yes!!!
ОтветитьBobby was a master in the ring !
Ответитьvery quick three count!
ОтветитьEither someone was a no show and Heenan subbed, or Heenan was going to wrestle as part of some main event, and this was a warm up match for him - Good Job Brain
ОтветитьWas Bobby being punished for something?
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic worker! Bobby was awesome.
ОтветитьSalvatore Bellomo was an under rated jobber! Later in his career, he became a vicious rule breaker!
ОтветитьBobby "The Brain" Heenan WWF Debüt :D
ОтветитьI wonder who the no show was that evening that Bobby had to put on the tights.
ОтветитьHeenan, really understood the business, classic showman, and head smart. Like he once said on a shoot you tell the crowd not to do something, and there sure to do it, like for example how the Brain, would cover his ears to Weasel chants, or another great example is when the ring announcer would say "Ladies and gentleman the Iron Sheik, requests that you please don't chant USA." LOL
ОтветитьWay more exciting than the last 9 years of WWE.
ОтветитьGlad Bobby won that match, he was a far better performer than most guys back then. The better man won. 😊👍
ОтветитьRIP Salvatore
