how can i turn off at all times rgb lights from mobo? i have the mag b650 tomahawk wifi

How are your fans at 300RPM, mine were at 6K with my PC at like 50 degrees on PWM. I have Vetroo V240 CPU Cooler and switched to DC it dropped only to 3.8K…????

Sorry, but I still prefer Asus AI Suite 3 with Fan Xpert 4. You say "Best on the market", then you haven't tested Asus yet.

unfortunately, MSI Control Center doesn't work. I followed directons and installed it on a system with a new MSI Z790 Pro motherboard and an i7 12600 processor. I installed Control Center for the User Scenario app. It just doesn't work at all. It installs seemingly OK, but after installation, when I attempt to load the software it comes up with an 'upgrade' window that leads to a 'system up-to-date' message, just a waste of time.

I am able to change the RGB on the fans but not the speeds which I find strange

Just wondering what you said and did powering all fans into Sys Fan1 on motherboard. It looks msi has provided 6 x Sys Fan headers 12v each. I don't know how many fans you plugged in let's suppose them to be 4 and 4x12v =48v. So, how is that safe to plug 48v all together in 1 Sys Fan Header.
Pls reply as I am at the end of assembling my pc, just fan work remains.

What is the point of configuring it in the bios if you're going to end up controlling it in the software? Is it basically incase the software goes down the bios settings take over?

thanks, this helped a lot. for some odd reason, when i upgraded my ram, my smart fan settings erased and haven't been able to get my fans working properly. They were kicking in and out and going a bit too wild and loud. This seemed to fix it

For some reason my bios only has pwm and I can’t change it, any ideas?

I have a MAG B550 TOMAHAWK and I would like to use ALL my fans at 50% speed ALL THE TIME as a MINIMUM speed.

The 3 frontal fans are PWM 1.800 RPM (I want to run them at 900 RPM = 50% NO MATTER the temperature as a MINIMUM speed.

The other 3 fans (2 on top, 1 in the back are the original case fans) CoolerMaster MC600P

My Air Cooler is Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black, this I won't change anything, just the case fans.

Anyone can help ?

Does MSI Center need to be running all the time to control the fans like this, or can I keep it closed after I apply the fan settings?

Thanks for this, built my pc last week. MSI mb, graphics & case. Was using the Frozr AI cooling, couldn't understand why (infrequently) the fans were often off until I opened the software, even though it apparently started with windows. Defo worth a sub, many thanks.

so i only have 1 sys fan plugged into my motherboard the rest is via corsair fan controller and a aio in pump header but i think the motherboard puts my sys fan into the cpu fan slot even if its plugged in as sys fan

but what if MSI center if bugging out and wont let you even open user scenario, I've done everything possible to fix it but nothing is working. when i click on user scenario it just brings me to different apps in the MSI center.

Weird. Adjusting the cpu fan speed does nothing for me. It stays around 700 rpm and my cpu runs hot as hell (around 38° at idle). Lian Li infinity fans

i only have 1 cpu fan and 1 system fan
And the system rpm is 0 for some reason and idk what’s wrong my pc gets loud sometimes idk is my case is bad or my fans are cheap or the settings are not correct

Do I need to make sure that anything is set a specific way in the BIOS when using MSI Center?

My system fan that I'm plugged into is PWM and is controlled by the motherboard and MSI center all though it always shows 0 RPM. My CPU fan does have a value. Any ideas on why I don't see the RPM for sys fans?

Any reason why I dont have the user scenario available? I just have MSI-Router, Mystic Light and MSI Companion. These are all useless to me, but User Scenario is not showing up for some reason. I checked for updates but thats not it either...

Asus has a much better one. You can select also what temp sensor to read for setting the actual speeds of fans/pump. Unfortunately it does not work with MSI Motherboards.

Great video! One question though. My MSI motherboard has an onboard chipset fan. How do I change the behavior of that little fan? The noise is annoyingly hight pitched.

I just finished an AM5 build and I cannot get the fan control to work in the bios. I have an EK Basic 240 AIO with the included fans daisy chained with the included adapter. No matter what I try in the bios the fans just blast away at full throttle. Is it possible MSI bios doesn't allow PWM fan control if 2 fans are daisy chained to the CPU fan header? I'm going to try 3rd party fan control software next.

This is a great guide! It answered all of my questions and also made me realize how overkill my fans were running. I finally set a curve and it’s so much easier to hear my games now!
