This was the story I'd hoped to see when I watched Magnificent Century, not that bunch of hooey they presented! The actual love story between Suleyman and Hurrem was beautiful even if she was a schemer. I mean, who wasn't in the royal government? And here I was so disappointed.

Mustafa wasn't Mahidevrans only child from Suleyman.

It speaks volumes about Hurrem. We still talk about her hundreds of years later. It makes you think how she really was and how strong she was.

I can honestly say I watched magnificent century no less than 18 times and I keep going back to it. It’s the best Turkish series I’ve ever watched, and Hurrem and Suleiman suited each other so much, you could feel the strong love and bond between them ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for this - tremendously but, you have based this pretty much on the TV Docu-drama "The Magnificent Century" which took liberties with actual history & is more fiction than fact.

Plus you can Google anything for comparative accuracy.

Suleiman had two known consorts, though in total there were 17 women in his harem when he was a Şehzade. The mothers of Mahmud, Murad and Raziye are unknown. THEREFORE Mustafa was not his firstborn as you state. Please correct that.

Also, some historians believe Hürreem was abducted as a child - not teenager - & given the name Hürreem because she was a jovial child.

Please take time to fact check & verify such important info.
Thank you!

I will say the Hillary had fault but not incompletely because mahrivran Planted all that invision that she had in a heart and the envy that she had for Sultan hurram
and her kids. Mustafa, Mom Play a very high role in Mustafa's future. had a lot to do with the execution of Her husband own son. If she would've left that Think alone and not put those ideas on his head, I think and everything will win just find. But she twisted and turned him and Turn him against his own brothers. Sisters Fill the throne in for his dad. that it was still. at Life so I will say that responsible of all this.this was the ambition ambitions that played A? Very strong role and everybody's execution, including. the Fall of Solomon. And harem the ambition they ultimately destroyed.
The Sultan airs. Everybody wanted the power, but not everybody could control the power. They could handle it, but they didn't realize that the power ultimately Was going to destroy them. It happened here just like it has happened to solve many others who had the power who had a whole condidn't submit it to them. Ultimately, it ends up destroying them. Because as humans, we don't know how to handle something like that, it goes over our heads. We forget who we are, and we forget where we come from. And we end up destroy anything that we want in our path. And all that ultimately will come and destroyed us because we are not meant to be possessed of anybody's life, we are not meant To have as much power as a God, because only god can possess the power, only god can possess that human life nobody else, but God We were made to serve God. We are made to be servants. We were not made to possess all that power. Because our hearts are contaminated. Filled with greed, envy and vicious liars develop evilness in our hearts. Remember what Spider-Man Uncle? said With the great power comes a great responsibility And we is humans, we always choose for destruction. In the need to possess somebody else's life. That it doesn't belong to us that is the ultimate power.✌️

New Hurrem enters after Maryam Uzerli .... But she is horrible. Her voice too is not at all impressive. How can they cast such an ugly woman to replace Maryam Uzerli. At least she should be a bit better than this woman.

Interesting, but some points are inaccurate or at least this is the grey area of history which we can only speculate on. Was Mustafa guilty, well, he certainly was seen as the Sultan's successor by many. And he was already in his prime years of life at the age of 38. Maybe growing ever more inpatient, sparked by whispers around him. We will never know.
Maybe that's why you call him Crown prince but this didn't actually exist in Ottoman Empire. At least not in the 16th century. They practiced open succession. And the dislike of Hurrem made Mustafa even more popular.
Sadly, the system was such, there couldy only be one Sultan and all the potential threats to him, his brothers, half brothers, their sons, they all had to be executed. Along with the current Sultan.
This was a bloody and deadly game of power. And power had its price.
Hurrem is an exceptional historical figure.

What I dislike most about this group is why it was accepted to enslave other ethnic groups of women
And their own women where not to be enslaved by them , much like the European ladys ripped from their homelands to be the slaves of this Empire 🧐
