In reality many believe there are actual underground worlds similar to this one but even more massive. So large that you can't even see the ends and there are several of them connected by caverns. And that Governments are hiding the entrances by placing things like The Federal Cave Resources Protection Act of 1988 (FCRPA) to prevent the public from finding these large underground spaces. This belief has gone back to ancient times where people worshipped "Gods" they believed came from inside the Earth. Others believe these "Gods" are simply advanced beings that evolved here on earth or evolved off planet and settled here inside of earth. Some caves lit with millions/billions of bioluminescent lifeforms that live on the walls. Some caves lit with natural "mini sun like" orbs of light. Or some lit with advanced luminescent technology. Some think many Nazis disappeared into the underground worlds beneath the ice of Antarctica finding a world of perfect temps in between the frost and the heat of within. There are lots of speculations but the general idea of massive spaces inside the earth that have an ecosphere is not far from the possibility of reality at all. I wish there were more movies and video games depicting this in a more realistic way.
