i don't like cats generally. They put on a docile act around humans because they aint dumb. But they don't respect you and will not give a f if you die.

When I was really young (like maybe 4) my outdoor cat climbed up to near the top of a tree and got stuck. I think he was up there for a day or two before we realized he was up there. So we ended up having to cut down the tree, and we saw him fly across the yard, sprint over to my grandparents house, and he hid under their bed for a day or two. He never really climbed anything ever again after that. The highest he ever jumped after that was onto my bed, but otherwise he was a ground cat for life. He absolutely never forgot that incident

I love how cats are the perfect example of extremes
They're both elegant and straight up gremlins
And they're also both incredibly smart and the dumbest beings ever- I love them for this

Unrelated fun fact: Cats have 10X faster reaction time than us, around 15-20ms, thats why they are so brave and even tho common misconception is the dogs hear high frequencies, they hear better than dogs, up to 45 khz, humans hear 20khz and dogs 40khz.
