I mean also vault tech is sketchy … maybe Brahmin were made by atomic radiation before the bombs too and vault tech actually did it first but no one knew so when the other guy did it he took the glory
ОтветитьIdk why people thought the kellogg thing would be a whole plot point instead of a silly joke
ОтветитьBeing subjected to Bethesda's writing is worse than the holocaust.
Ответитьghouls can enter a hibernation state. how to you think there are ghouls at the bottom of pre war warehouse where they have been locked in with out food for 210 years. this might aslo explain why the kid didn't grow up. also with the valentine quest both the doctor and nick himself say its just left over memeoris leaving a temporary imprint and than they will fade over time. so yea that quest was never ment to go any where. but the liberty prime and jet addicts ones are 100% total plot holes and i cant explain them at all. maybe the company was lied too and said told libery prime was successfully deployed to keep morale up? and than they never had time to know it was a lie cause the bombs fell. would explain why the ms nanny is programed to lie to the player cause the staff and robots thought it was true.
ОтветитьThe jet "plot hole" isn't neccisarily one. It's a "plot hole" that's brought up all the time but Fallout 2 only confirms that Byron rediscovered jet. Even in Fallout 2 people cast doubts on Byron's claims on inventing Jet. High intelligence players can even do so themselves when speaking to him. He does reveal that he technically didn't invent it cause the primary active chemical existed in brahmin shit before he even existed but that more of a semantical argument than anything. This does however reveal that it's entirely possible for someone pre-war to have isolated the key components of jet based on the same or simmilar observations Byron made that led to his discovery of it as it is something that occurs naturally in nature. You could make the argument that "Oh brahmin are different from the pre-war cows and so their shit wouldn't have the same make up necessary to jet" would could 100% be true. We don't really have a way of knowing but regardless, since the chemical is naturally occurring smart people pre-war who were researching new drugs could have stumbled upon it through different means. The only part about it that can be seen as a potential plot hole is the name of the drug being jet both pre and post war. It's not technically impossible for them to come up with the same exact name but it is insainly unlikely.
ОтветитьDid you know Jet in the game is based off a real life drug? Lol look up jenkem if you dare. Maybe that's where the name came from Jen Kem. Jet chem
ОтветитьI assume the explanation for the Roger Warwick plot hole is this: To keep the plot surprise that Roger is a synth his model spawns without a synth module so the reveal isn’t spoiled if someone tries to pickpocket him. Since that seems like a more likely action a player might take, you know just snooping around when you first meet him and the family, than it would be for a player to murder and loot him as soon as he’s marked non-essential, they just decided to play the odds and not give the character a synth module.
ОтветитьKid in a Fridge may not actually have been in there since the bombs dropped. Rather, he may have only been in there since the Quincy massacre. For one thing, his parents are just mildly surprised he's still alive, much less than they would be if he was presumed dead for 200 years. It would also explain why he didn't age like the one ghoul that grew up, and why he didn't starve.
ОтветитьI have a Plot hole, how does Nora know how to use Power armor if she was a Lawyer?
ОтветитьOkay in regards to the Jet controversy, there is a speech check you can do with Myron in Fallout 2 where you can convince him to tell you that he didn't actually make Jet. Also I'm going to a con to speak with Jason Marsden, Myron's (and Boone's) voice actor and ask if he was ever let in on the truth about Jet!
ОтветитьYeah ghouls don't need to eat or drink water, the ghouls of necropolis are ok with you taking their water chip.
ОтветитьI agree. I just started a new play through, and noticed the thing about Kellogg speaking through Nick and did find it rather startling. I took it as Kellogg's parting message, since as soon as he stepped out with his hands raised, wanting to talk, I put a .308 through his forehead from the doorway with a critical shot I'd been saving before he could say anything
ОтветитьI wonder if somewhere in Fallout there's a master Bunker full of vault-tec executive overseeing and watching everything I mean after the bombs drop there had been somewhere they went that wasn't f*** up like the rest of us where they could oversee everything
ОтветитьFallout 4 is a very good game, but really, it gets VERY little of actual Fallout lore right. Bethesda doesn't really seem to care for continuity, which is a shame.
ОтветитьBethesda actually fixing their mistakes? Yeah, that'll be the day
ОтветитьBasically Bethesda knows less about the Fallout franchise than most long-term fans. And it shows. They f'd up so many things that are inconsistent with previously established lore it won't fit in an hour long video.
Such as in F3 where you enter a certain vault that definitely has NOT been opened since the war but also contains jet in an even more securely locked safe you can only access after you've finished the questline of that vault.
So the problem with jet not existing until way AFTER the war (and brahmin had mutated into existence from the radiation) occurred multiple times over multiple games.
That's why I barely tolerate Bethesda's handling of the franchise.
I would have loved to have seen a fan-built version of the Van Buuren project. That would have been awesome.
Psuedo scientist is just another way to say 14 year old prodigy
ОтветитьWhat if rodrick had a twin?
ОтветитьIn fallout 3, by Bethesda, this is mentioned by an npc in passing somewhere in Megatron when you walk by them. They said that jet was made from Brahman sht
ОтветитьYou know who isn't annoyed by the drip of a leaky faucet? A synth!
ОтветитьSo... The explanation I was looking for wasn't in the video, but are we to assume, that Kellog didn't age in the 60 or so years after stealing Shaun, because he's a cyborg?
ОтветитьYeah but jet was used at vault 81 and vault 81 hasn’t open the vault doors soooooo…
ОтветитьFor the goulification it could be that because it is a result of random mutations it has different effects
ОтветитьYou know... the jet plot hole I never felt was a plot hole. I think that jet existed, maybe by another name and slightly different compounds to make it, before the war. After the war it was so popular it was used up fast and the new jet was made to be as close to the old stuff.
Course this is not 100% able to work... but it's my head cannon
They say ghouls don't need to eat or drink, but occasionally if you have Hancock as a companion, he'll sit down and start drinking from a glass.
ОтветитьIt's a minor thing, but it never made sense to me why all super mutants are hostile (except Virgil, who doesn't really count, and strong). They were hostile in the original game for a very good reason (the master), but they aren't necessarily hostile in any other games. I'm not sure if there was a reason for this in the lore, but it felt like just laziness from Bethesda who just wanted another variety of enemy
ОтветитьBoy in the fridge didn't eat, so he didn't grow 😅
ОтветитьWhile I'm an absolute fiend for fallout's lore and history, I've never cared about plot holes.
I usually "switch" up the lore every playthrough anyway (within reason) so it's not like I'm relying on each game to follow the same world as the last.
Dont get me wrong though, i LOVE when they do feed off of eachother and you can watch a story play out with some side characters between games, im just saying that when they accidentally claim jet is a pre-war drug, I either say "aight, jet is pre-war for this playthrough" or i just pretend it IS some prewar drug they were given. I patch plotholes like bethesda patches games
I experienced the same with Roger warick. Except I was in the brotherhood hunting down the escaped synths in the battle of bunker hill. I shot them all, checked their bodies, and finally noticed that NOT ONE of them had synth components. Did I kill innocent people, or was this an oversight from Bethesda?
ОтветитьPlay fallout 2 if you want to learn the origin of jet.
ОтветитьIs that real power armor in the thumb nail?
ОтветитьHow did a kid stay in a fridge for 200 years and no one opened it it's not like it's in the middle of nowhere Wyoming also kid can speak very well considering he's had no one to talk to in 200 years.
ОтветитьRadiation storms kept the kid alive and Youthful
ОтветитьIt woulda been dope if they made kellogg a permanent thing in Nick's head where they would switch back and forth between personalities depending on the situation, it would work if they made kellogg want to work for you and Nick because you took him out.
ОтветитьAll i want to know — where i can get that PA paintjob.
ОтветитьI always thought jet was just a normal inhaler based on one time I took all of my inhaler in one night and felt my heart beating and it felt like time was slow
Ответитьi think the issue with the last one is that there are varying degrees of ghoulism, possibly varying between somebody who becomes a ghoul and grows up and lives a normal lifespan to a ghoul staying the same age for 100s of years. furthermore, ghouls might need to eat but they also heal from radiation, so while a ghoul may 'starve to death', you could potentially keep them alive and working with radiation, suffering, but alive
ОтветитьThe Nick Kellog thing could've been cool
Ответитьyeet
ОтветитьMyron simply rediscovered Jet, with it being a coincidence that brahmin farts and whatever was used for Jet pre war having similar effects
ОтветитьBrahmin farts give me the zoomies!
ОтветитьThe ghoul kid is lying - hole filled 🕳️
ОтветитьYou know my thoughts on the jet thing has always been that jet was a different drug before the pre war than it became the drug after the bombs we all know and love and also that in fallout 76 the whole jet thing was jet from before the war then because the rest of the jet was used up and no one could re create said old jet
Ответитьplotholes? how about how you see a nuclear fireball from a very nearby blast destroy a fence that is intact when you crawl out the vault 200 years later? or the paper posters, cloth bunting, and plastic halloween decorations that weren't even scorched? or the dozens of robots and computers that were unharmed by the EMP waves? or the fact that all the computers work fine after 200 years without even a power supply? oh, and Dogmeat is so obviously a synth. you are too most probably.
ОтветитьIt's pronounced Worrik not War Wick.
ОтветитьI think it makes sense for jet because it's 2 different companies
ОтветитьOn ghouls: I like to think of it as them needing food to use energy or grow, but otherwise it is unneeded.
so, a Ghoul can essentially hibernate forever, but if they are moving around or even thinking particularly hard, they'll need to eat.
also, stops physical growth until they eat. so a kid will be a kid forever until they've got biomass coming in.
I don't know or have any consistency problems with Fall Out.
But I am a little torn when it comes to agriculture surrounding the game. We see that growing plants and mushrooms is possible in this post apocalyptic world.
But no ones gone to any effort to try and reestablish massive farms or agricultural zones.
there are a few ways you could twists some of these plot holes to make them make sense, but they would be kinda lack luster like
Jet: maybe there was an old version of Jet pre-war that was made differently but some time after the bombs dropped someone, possibly a ghoul from pre-war times, noticed that the fumes from brahim crap had a similar effect and thus started making and selling it
Warwick: maybe Roger Warwick somehow got away from the Institute and when he got home noticed the synth replacement so he killed the synth and took its place, working with the Institute so that no one would suspect that it was him
Nick: maybe after Kellogg spoke through Nick's voice he simply had Kellogg's chip removed from his head thus stopped him from influencing Nick's actions
just a few possibilities but none that would be too satisfying if they were true.
Bro he was locked in a fridge... How the fuck are you saying its implying ghouls dont need to eat.. He was locked in a fucking fridge mate lmao.
