What's a 6" piece of crushed copper pipe worth? (Don't worry, I'm in Canada and not planning to show up to your yard.😅)
ОтветитьNice explanation 👌
ОтветитьNot only is your channel entertaining, it’s educational!!!
ОтветитьHappens all the time especially with industrial 'precious' metals like silver. Market moves $5, buyback only shifts a fraction of that. Tough to be in the physical
ОтветитьWhat is driving these prices?
ОтветитьIt's called Business...
ОтветитьThis is great information to know
ОтветитьSpread? This is old gangster talk😅
ОтветитьThey paying 3.90 for Bb cper in my town
ОтветитьWOW, thank you for inlightment.
ОтветитьNice keep it man. .82lb for cans in Englewood CO. And just got $162 a net ton on a trailer load of steel scrap
ОтветитьTweekers are gonna be out stripping copper Double Time !
ОтветитьKennacott is having a tough time finding a vain worthy of going after... beware
ОтветитьSounds kinda like corporate greed 🧐
ОтветитьAnything to shit you out of what you're owed.
ОтветитьCopper has been overpriced for decades versus scrapping prices of a beyond easy material to recycle..
Yeah I installed broadband internet at a copper traders mansion a couple decades ago. Literally never touched any of the copper but was out there profiting plenty on that nonsense market of a widely available material..
If you didn't sell to the mills for what "they" want you'd get a good price. The rich keep getting richer.
ОтветитьMan there is alot more to your business than just scrap. Amazing work 👍🇨🇦🔧
ОтветитьMan maryland copper prices sick always. Its like 3.65 FOR BB. !!!!
ОтветитьIm sitting on a bunch of bb copper and a ton of spa wire but in not selling it for 3.55 dpp and 2dpp wondering if it would be worth it to travel north or south to find better prices
Ответитьmore, but less
ОтветитьWould LOVE to hear about differences in spread between different copper grades. The way lead times on different materials impact the pricing is fascinating, scrap metal is so much more complex than it seems! Especially in a distorted market like this. E.g., is it better to sell your barebright and hold the #2? Or vice versa?
ОтветитьGovernment NEEDS to BAN all plastic bottles with aluminum cans. Itll cut down on plastic pollution, healthier for people and hear me out here... But if we have a larger supply of aluminum, might come in handy during wartime. 👍
Ответить👋👍.
ОтветитьComplicated
ОтветитьThat is what farmers call basis.
ОтветитьHold it if you can afford too
ОтветитьHas anyone told the meth heads the copper is found underground? Give them a shovel and send it
ОтветитьCopper goes up and the scrapyards pay the same...
Copper goes down and the scrapyards pay less...
🤷🤷🤷
Strip out the copper of wire people will pay spot on ebay for a 50 pound mail box 250 -25 vs 200 -25.
ОтветитьI like seeing what copper is worth but I check the scrapyard to see what they're paying. The scrapyard determines if I sell or keep.
ОтветитьTin an light metal is paying more then prepared steel by me
ОтветитьHow do you track the spreads? It’s there software or website you use?
ОтветитьCopper has dropped a full 1.10 for #1 since the 2nd at the yard here in tennessee. And all scrap pieces are dropping.
ОтветитьI asked my scrap yard yesterday about copper prices, it dropped 92 cents over last week. That is Canadian prices.
Ответитьprofiteering at its best
ОтветитьYep scrap markets rip ppl off
ОтветитьThe spread is used by market dealers to insulate and cushion themselves from large movements that would have them take a loss on buying and holding physical metals before they could flip them to the refiners or end consumers. In volatile markets the spreads always widen until prices stabilize.
ОтветитьAnd the meth heads are still making money selling dozens of catalytic converters at a time.
