I’ll be honest I really don’t like this show it seems disrespectful to the Amish community I realize that there are people that need to leave it and it ain’t for them but to do all this to try to make money off of it seems stupid to me. I was a Mennonite growing up and i left and I still have a lot of love and respect for the Mennonite/Amish sure I know they have there problems but do they really deserve to be viewed as a negative thing? Maybe I get the wrong impression of what this show is trying to tell us
P.S. I want to say that there are plenty of Mennonites and Amish that hide a lot of awlful things behind there conservative name but there are sooo many more of them who are wonderful people just trying to live there life for God the best way they know how. I understand that for some people they need to go somewhere else to suite them better as in my case or maybe your just giving up on Christianity, however whatever your situation is I don’t see that it’s necessary to slam people for how they live just because you don’t want to do it that way.
