Hi Jade, my husband did my spousal sponsorship (inland) in September 2022 it’s now January 2024 and on the website it says the background check is still in process… Overall should the process to get a PR be taking this long? I came from the UK

For an outland application do both the Spousal and TRV Applications get filed at the same time or does the TRV get filed after getting confirmation that the Canadian sponsor is eligible to be a sponsor ? Thanks
