could you let us know what wheelbase and width this is, at least sit it next to a normal sc truck would of been good

Looks to be similar in dimensions when Losi tried the Heavy Metal Truck conversion for the XX-4 that sadly didn't really take off back then.

The Chassis looks like the 1/10 AMP MT 2WD Monster Truck RTR P/N ECX - ECX03028. Good review of the RC.

Looks like a nice little truck! Team associated has been putting out great stuff for yrs! Still remember back many yrs ago when my old high-school buddy got an RC 10, he was the king of the neighborhood at the time, was a cool rc and still is for it's age!!!

When I was a kid back in the 80's, Team Associated was one of the best around. Always wanted one of their vehicles.

$350 though?? That's not really acceptable. The Pro4 brushless is only $340 and handles better, is faster, and similar features. Idk about this one

I still don’t entirely understand why this needs to exist at the same time as proper 1/10 sct’s it’s a tiny bit cheaper, sure, but with less potential, less eligibility, and it’s another vehicle possibly taking away from Associated making a proper 1/10 rear motor stadium truck. If I want to race a 1/10 buggy platform I’ll just race a 1/10 buggy.

I know you said a few classes are starting up but it makes me wonder if more tracks will go to shortwheeled based 2wd shortcourse trucks out local city track 1/8th scale track still runs 4x4 shortcorse and 1/8th scale buggy is getting more popular to havent been to the races in a while but maybe ill go soon and check it out to see what classes are still going on.

This team associated , absolute garbage crap , team Associated ? Seriously ? overpriced , Where is the quality , where is the value , when all you get is extremely poor value for money , just like the brand traxxas and some other brands of cheaply made and seriously overpriced overhyped RC cars . Wouldn't waste a single dime on a RC like the likes of this . This is cheaply made and seriously overpriced . It's absolutely appalling value and no quality . You can get serious value with quality at value prices with the likes of a 1/14 scale 15.5 inches long LC RACING EMB-RA RALLY for far less , an 8 scale HoBao hyper GT rally for not a lot more than the cost of this team associated . There is absolutely no quality and value for money here , with likes of RC'S made like the likes of this team associated here , along with some other appallingly overpriced and cheaply made RC'S with no absolute quality or value about them . You have to be seriously daft in the head or seriously dumb in the head to waste good money on appallingly seriously overpriced RC'S that have no quality and serious poor value about them . I am 100% correct here , there is absolutely no getting away from this truth , and the truth is out for all to see 🤔 this team associated , a Serious waste of money .

It's a nice starter truck however the price isn't a staring car price a pack with the car, battery and charger is $415.99 in the site you linked so definitely a deterring factor for new to the rc hobby and for this price better ones avalaiable... and it's cabalities not really prove this high price if it was a traxxas for this mnoey and performance peoples would laugh at it.

The rtr associated controller is out dated and does not put out 7.4 volts for even a little decent steering.
