video show, does the filter influence the sharpness?
ОтветитьAmazing stuff. Great work & thanks for the vid
ОтветитьWhat about sharpness??
ОтветитьYour work looks great but that model makes your work PERFECT. ❤😍
ОтветитьHey I need some help I have the godox ad200 with the Sony a7c max shutter 1/4000 with HSS enabled. However when I shoot at this level shutter with both HSS enabled on the strobe and the Sony, the photo comes out completely black? Why is this
ОтветитьVery good tutorial for a beginner here. 🙏🏽
ОтветитьGreetings!
nice presentation, congratulations.
would you please give me your opinion on whether I should buy the original Canon or the soft one,
Canon EF-EOS R adapter with neutral density input filter (V-ND)
but can you use the lens hood?
ОтветитьWow this is great.,perfect explanation, ease, simple and effective thanks a lots…
ОтветитьGood vid. "5.8" power doesn't mean much to those of us who dont know what the total power range of the strobe is.
ОтветитьGreat video~~ Will ND Filter really save Flash power compared to HSS? For Full body photo, do we need a very strong flash? Thanks
ОтветитьNowadays people use High-speed sync (HSS) for flash. The ND filters in flash were relevant 15 years ago ;-) Time goes on :-)
ОтветитьI felt hard working with AF with ND ?
ОтветитьThank you again, actually had to refer back to these videos before buying NEW nd filters.
ОтветитьI have a sigma 30mm f1.4. I want to use the filter. So the 52 mm protector filter is correct for the 30 mm f 1.4? I want to use it for portraits. Thanks
ОтветитьThis is great! Thanks
Ответитьbut do you think using a high speed sync would result in a sharper image , coz we can use a faster shutter speed ?
ОтветитьWatched Joel Grimes use an nod with at 1.8 on an overcast day and got motion blur in the clouds. Cool method and it really does give you back your flashes power.
ОтветитьBra thanks for including the settings & the model of the lens because that’s so important
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьGreat video!! Quick question - Can you use ND grad filters to reduce overexposure of neon lights?? I am doing talking head vids in low light with a neon sign in the background. The problem is that the neon sign appears overexposed (white & blurry) even after I've made changes to the camera settings (Aperture, ISO and Shutter speed). Plus I am using 2 soft box lights and a Sony ZV-E10 with the Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens. Yout thoughts to using ND filters in this case??
ОтветитьThank you!!
ОтветитьCan you please do this with the Sony a7c? Since I want to buy this Camera and some reviews point it's limitation to the shutter speed. Can you do similar Video using ND Filter but with Sony a7c shooting wide open like f/1.8 or f/1.4 etc....with external flash? Thanks!
Ответитьhss with a2 profoto great video as usual
ОтветитьIs it was 2-5 stop???
ОтветитьThanks for video
ОтветитьHello Miguel, thanks to share this interesting video. Allow me 2 questions please:
1) Do you prefer to use a good solid ND or a good VND to shoot documentaries in Log 4K? I mean documentaries around the world to shoot cities and people.
2) Why everybody always uses the lens hood to shoot in sunny days, then when guys use a ND filter, nobody use the lens hood anymore? I think it is a bad habit not to use a lens hood with an ND filter. Thank you.
why 1/60? why not 1/200?
ОтветитьI just saw a few videos and I like your tutorials very much!
ОтветитьNice! I was wondering about this.
I gotta try this. 👊🏾💯
Great series of videos. Thank you. BTW your model is amazingly beautiful. Great job both of you. Looking forward to many more videos.
ОтветитьI'm stuck with an old Paul C Buff Einstein that doesn't support HSS. Great for studio work but no good in an outdoor scenario like in the video. Would you buy an ND filter or try to sell the Einstein and buy something that supports HSS?
ОтветитьThanks for posting this tutorial! This made it super easy to understand and I’ll have to try a ND filter next time I’m using flash 😊
ОтветитьVery succinctly explained Mr Quiles. Thank you. One question though. HSS and ND filters allow you to achieve the same thing, right? Expose for the background and then expose (light) the subject. So how do you choose one over the other?
ОтветитьGreat . Thank you!
Ответитьawesome shots. Now I really, really, really want that 135mm lens :o)
ОтветитьExcellent!!! Most photo guys wont use NDs on portret...
Ответитьthanks for the video.
ОтветитьI had never understood why ND filters exist (known unknown) and I had never heard of high speed sync (unknown unknown). Thanks for the video. Very well done.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьND Filters are OK, the contrasts are a little fiddly, however HSS pictures are far better in my opinion. Thoughts?
ОтветитьThe advantage of nd-filters over hss is that you don't drain the battery of your flash
ОтветитьWhat about electronic shutter? Will they work with a strobe to get shutter speeds faster than 1/8000?
ОтветитьI'm interested to see your HSS and comparison video. A lot of photographers claim you get more power using the ND method but I did a few tests of my own and didnt find that to be true at all. What I do agree however is that HSS likely drains your battery power more/ is more taxing on your flash than ND(slower recycle at max power etc)
ОтветитьBeen using them for a while. What I hate is having to have a different one for each different lens.
Canon on the R5 had the EF to RF adapter with a built in variable ND filter. It's absolutely awesome as with a L grip on the R5 my finger tip is right at the dial for the ND. So it's like it has a built in adjustable ND filter that fits every lens. I set shutter speed and aperture and just dial in the ND I need to get under 1/200th with my fingertip. It's awesome. And I'm not looking to change to RF lenses at all.
Very interesting, I’ll watch the whole series of course.
ОтветитьOrlando squad 🤙💪 nice video brother!
ОтветитьGreat video!! Could you have gotten the American results if you raised the F stop
ОтветитьReally great video. There are some cameras that are incapable of high speed sync,,so using an nd filter is a great option for shooting with open apertures
Ответить
