Even if it is a 3d movie but the whistling gave me goosebumps too.....very good work from the entire crew and actors.

What Death is doing with his whistle is a brilliant psychological fear tactic. Anytime Puss hears that whistle, he knows it’s him. Fearing for his life every time. Death wants Puss to fear him as Puss has always laughed at him. This is Death’s way of getting back at Puss, psychologically messing with him during the hunt to ultimately take his last life.

IMAGINE taking a sh*T in the bathroom and you hear this

I think the reason he appears has a wolf is to reference Anubis, the god of funerary rites, protector of graves, and guide to the underworld, even know he wasn't the god of death.

Death may be an antagonist, but not a villain.

I love how the Wolf near-instantly became one of fiction's greatest villains.

Despite death acting like a villain, death respects life and hates anyone that disrepects it. Puss did respect life so why wait. Death wanted to kill him immediately but since puss changed at the last min and finally respected life, death didnt hate him anymore. Truly brilliant story

My favourite part of this scene is how the wolf says “Noones escaped me yet”. It’s like the most generic thing a villain could say to imply how strong they are. My reaction was Pusses reaction. And then my reaction continued to be Pusses reaction once we found out how strong the wolf actually was by his actions

If I had a nickel for every time a ginger-haired hero fought an immortal enemy who whistles and was forced to escape through alternate means via waterway I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice!

Death whistle actually scares me a lot. When I was watching the movie on my iPad with the volume all the way up I thought he was in my room. 😶🫢🙁😖😫 it’s a great movie too.
