Thank you. Just one thing: I get a bit tired of people not level-matching the processed and unprocessed signals, especially in a tutorial. It's hard enough to hear the difference anyway, and the lack of matching makes this much harder.
Ответитьgreat video !!! but is there another compresor with similar characteristics of the Neve? thanks !
ОтветитьGood song!! What's the name of the first song and the band? GREAT presentation on Compression!!
ОтветитьIf the levels were matched it might be a fairer comparison
ОтветитьThank you Sir!
ОтветитьHi and great video! I have noticed that you are using a lot of UA plug-ins, I have just bought a Satellite Duo and now I have a Coupon of 150€ until the end of September and the choices are many... There is one of the UA plug-in that you consider a "Must Have"'? Thanks!
ОтветитьGood post & record👌🏾
ОтветитьExcellent post, very helpful, many thanks !
ОтветитьYes, definitely MUST level match ALL comparisons of dry and processed audio tracks. Otherwise, Mr. Volume will crash any Comparison Party unprepared for the distraction of his 'imbalance', thereby, arbitrarily influencing the listeners and thus diminishing the quality and accuracy of any A/B testing being attempted.
Ответить"I hear some additional clarity with this compressor"... Yes more volume xP.
ОтветитьBe sure to support our mixing channel as well great video
ОтветитьCan I use this on a mix bus to clear up my muddy mix?
Ответитьwhat a great track
ОтветитьI have the shadow hills compressor and it's a great tool....but the next time you are about to compare , "before and after" the compression ,try to level match the volume.
It's obvious that you didn' t bother to do it in this case , therefore the compare wasn't fair...(even if everyone knows that the shadow hills compressor sounds great!)
