Hard bosses are good. They are the reason you get better.

This is why a lot of people like myself have problems with AC6. He was using a fairly good build and could not win. But if you use any of the cheat builds you can win. I call them cheat because well in AC6 they are kind of a cheat. Which is good without them it would be nearly impossible. But your suppose to be able to survive and learn and adapt and win with most builds. Only a few players can do that. I am being a little harsh but it is sad that even with a decent loadout of weapons it's night and day to one of the "cheat" builds. lol

Lightweight AC vs Seaspider. It just works

I killed the spider first go. Almost stock as a rock. Only changed the head and legs. Still using the auto rifle, laser blade and shoulder rockets. I think a mobile build is better.
Balteus and the enforcer gave me way more trouble.

Man, my first SeaSpider run was rough, because I wasn't used to it and didn't want to look up the OP/cheese builds... but it wasn't six hours rough, lmao. Just had to get used to its patterns. Now I know I can even just take a light AC with 2 Zimmermans + melee and kill it in like 30 seconds... because you can kill almost anything with 2 Zimmermans. My first success though I ended up using a quadruped for flight, pile-bunker, and songbirds I think, but that was a while ago now so idk. I know I relied heavily on the pile bunker tho.

This game is sp fucking shit, the tank treads don't fucking move right, want to go forward they go backwards want to go left THEY DONT MOVE WANT TO GO RIGHT THEY DONT MOVE!!

The spider boss is actually fairly easy if you stay close up and are fast you can just out his guns turn speed i did that and use the bunker buster and shotgun

At least you didn’t give up watch how i got him using a different method those bosses are nothing compared to what is coming next

Gatling Gun in armored core community is like the greatsword. Like stats can't explain why it's good. It's a type of weapon or armor that makes you wonder why a lot of vets are using it. Then you try it, then you realize you can cheese out of it

Here's hoping he gets the 3rd ending eventually, that'll be a fun watch

Sea Spider is one of the few bosses where picking a heavy tank is a very bad idea. Reverse joints or quad and spending most of the time on the air is IMO the easiest way to kill it.

Also, ditching missiles for something that can deliver damage and impact without delay is something that isn't adressed well enough in gameplay tips.

almost done with my 3rd runthrough. ive had a tough time on maybe ayre and walter. died twice to the sea spider. but this was just absolutely painful to watch. its like he doesnt even try to not get hit XD

Honestly, it might not even be a build issue, just a skill issue. I was struggling against this boss for an hour the first time, but after I got the hang of things a bit more, I came back to this mission to find the combat logs and got S rank with the same build I used the first time.

To be fair, I'm doing extremely well in AC6, but if you throw me into a MMO raid..... I'm going to be confused as hell.

Well if I was to offer advice it would be to get rid of the tank build. That kind of build is way too slow. And when dashing go left and right, don't bother going forward or backward you will still get hit. Umm... My build is dual wild machine pistols with rockets and whatever hits hard kinetically. Don't bother with the laser stuff. But yeah focus on decent health, maneuverability, and light weight, try and stay above him and in the air. That's how I beat him. That's my advice, take or leave it, whatever you wanna do 👍

I guess I’m lucky balteus was the boss that taught me “if you die a bunch, switch your build”. After balteus I made 3 builds and now have 4 in ac data.

i basically did this by farming Jugernaught until I could essentially rebuild my mech. I went heavy as I could the most armour and Byped legs. then I strapped two songbirds and two gats on there and brute forced it.

Decided to reset my OST and try out Asmons build here to see if he was just a scrub or what. Ive S ranked every mission and let me tell you, this was a bad build. It took me quite a few tries to be able to beat it. Its certainly possible, but man this build had 0 synergy.

The second one where he replaced the laser cannon with the songbird probably would have done better, but I decided to use his first build because it seemed worse.

After several hundreds of attempts, I beat the bloody boss, went to get a coke in the 'fridge to celebrate and then had to do it again because everything exploded. I was so MAD
