When I was a poor student looking for cheap accommodation, I found an affordable room. When I did a tour with the landlady, I was amazed by the number of rooms. Co-incidentally, it had 10 rooms ! My curiosity took over me and i asked "why so many rooms?" The answer shocked me. "It was a brothel !" the landlady said.

2 years back, this exact home, 167 Whitaker Close NE , was sold for 295K by a family from Strathmore, Alberta. This would NOT be a family home but hostel for International Students as its next to Whitehorn Station
In May of 2024, a house in Whitehorn, made in 70s and 80s, was put on market by owner for 540,000$. It was bought by Realtor group, they used cash workers and spent 20-30k on renovation and put the home BACK on market in July 2024 for 729,000$.
That's a straight up jacking up of price by 35% within 3 months. MAFIA

I was during covid living in a Airbnb, when I arrived in this 1 bedroom condo (Vancouver,BC)... There were 4 sleeping in the living room and 3 in the bedroom. BTW, male & females mixed/strangers all. The condo was about 500sq feet.
Of course, I reported it to authorities🇨🇦
