Can we replace cornstarch with cornflour?

Can it be called custard without egg yolks I think more a dessert powder still a really great idea though

I guess the vanilla custard is for instant consumption and not for keep because the quantity of the cornstarch is small. How do I do it if I want to make for the large family or for keep?
