It's too crowded.
ОтветитьHow about no private vehicles? Since that takes up way more space than pedestrians and cyclists do.
ОтветитьReally tells you something that they think to ban bikes before they think to ban the cars that actually make walking that street so miserable
ОтветитьWhy was the reporter biking the wrong way on a one way street? Bikes are supposed to follow the same rules as cars!
ОтветитьPlease remember pedestrians have a role in this too. I’ve been going to Ptown my entire life. Yes it’s more and more a problem. They should ban e-bikes altogether in a place like that. They are a constant menace no matter where you go in Boston. The police openly acknowledge they have trouble addressing it. This is clear. Nowhere have I gone where pedestrians hit the street in such numbers and become instantly stupid. It’s a road. Who walks into the middle of the road and just stands there talking with friends not paying attention to their dog. Only Provincetown. As a bike rider, I will say it’s 90% the pedestrians that caused the accidents. Stop making concessions for stupid people. We are dumb down America by doing this. Pedestrians are completely losing their survival instincts and they’re not teaching them to their kids. That is the problem, not bicycles. This action is going to force bicyclist in much larger numbers onto Bradford Street running parallel to commercial. That’s where cars go to avoid commercial Street. Now we’re really going to see some severe injuries.
ОтветитьSounds like Half Baked plan to me. What about Store,Restaurant and Hotel Deliveries? What about ACTUALLY BEING ABLE TO GET TO YOUR HOTEL??? SHUTTLE??... GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!.....
ОтветитьThey definitely need to put up barriers for CARS. I was very concerned some nut job might try to drive through Commercial Street to harm people. Bikes are fine.
