I’ve been on dialysis for about 4 years. I would like to try your diet advice. I am happy you told us about the sodium number for meals! I’m also diabetic. Is your advice ok for diabetics too?

What is the diet advice for Stage 3 CKD?

I love TrueLemon too. Still have trouble drinking water. I'm a saltoholic and am purporting to drink more water and eliminate salt. I've had lung and kidney Cancer a year ago. Still have the kidney cancer now in other kidney so have to deal with that now. You've helped me to get on track. Thank you!

This is total BS. If you’re on a renal diet you AVOID processed foods !! Just eat low potassium natural fruits and vegetables

I don't have access to all those prepped boxed meals. Is there any recipes for people who can't find those products ?

my husbands stoned caused ckd is not end stage....yet. so we are going at it like its ste 4-5 and we mean business. looking at your video helps increase the variety to this strict diet
just tried somethin he will not eat but others may find exciting. cottage cheese 1/2 serving with one full servin of blue berries and could live with a breakfast like that

What I think is happening the diet slows down the progress of CkD from shrinking. Eating the renal diet is best to slow down the progression of the kidneys from shrinking. Being on the Dialysis machine help you live longer. Another choice is kidney transplants. I am sorry I do not believe any ideal of reverse kidneys Failor can reverse kidneys stages from 5 to two itself. It is like the smoker's lung. The sac in the lungs burns off. It cannot cure the sacs. The only thing the smokers can do is to stop smoking to keep more sacs from burning off. I have CKD stage 5. Fallow the Renal diet it will slow the progression of the kidney down to live longer. If you are on dialysis machine stay on it which help you live longer and fallow the renal diet.

I’ve never been told how to eat properly and everytime I turn around something isn’t right one place will say this is ok another will say that it is not…what can I get that isn’t super expensive I’m on SSDI I’ll be happy just to maintain

Diet:
• Lots of water(no coffee, juice) iced water is ok (half weight of your body (ounces) you need to take)
• Avoid sodium/salt
• Breakfast: (egg white) 2-3 eggs worth, veggies oatmeal,
• Lunch&Dinner: Gisang gulay/steamed gulay, (vegan foods only)
• White bread only if you want to it breads in the morning
• Avoid all sauces (toyo, suka, ketchup, atbp.)
• Portion control each meal
• Add lime/lemon/calmansi for flavor of your food
• eat Apples (add fiber to your meal)
• Eat it consistently

Good evening I’m so happy to see you. Inform us of this issue. I’m like you I hate going to the doctor. But a year ago I had a kidney removed and I’m having problem the other. I’m trying to drink more water. But don’t get thirsty and I have to psh my self to grind it. Also I’ve try changing my eating habit eating more salad. Now isn’t eating salad good for you. If you could talk about thatI can eat that every day. I put tomatoe, cucumber , chicken and some dressing. Also can I eat shrimp or fish? I would appreciate it. Thanks

My last GFR was 88 with 1215 proteinuria count...i have lupus so maybe I'm in the early stages of CKD because i do feel dull pains in my lower back and flank pretty frequently, so i already know it's something not good going on with my kidneys and i just wld like to slow down or even halt the progression if possible

I put cranberry juice blueberries strawberries cabbage apples in the blender. For breakfast every day. It tastes very good.
